Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is a national level entrance exam for all the Under Graduate, Post Graduate and Doctorate level courses. This exam is conducted on a rotational basis by any one of the central universities once a year. There are total of 14 Central Universities and 4 State Universities in India. Candidates who qualify in the CUCET entrance by clearing the cutoff marks can take admission in the selected program. The CUCET 2022 Cutoff will be released on the official website once the exam is concluded The National Testing Agency (NTA) established by the Government of India has been assigned to conduct the Central University Common Entrance Test CUCET for all Undergraduate and Post Graduate exams. CUCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for CUCET 2022 will remain the same as previous years for Undergraduate, Post Graduate students, and Ph.D. candidates. Check here for details.

 CUCET 2022 Exam Eligibility Criteria for UG Candidates

• The applicant must have passed a 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board of India.
• The General Category candidates must have scored a minimum 50% marks in the intermediate exam.
• The ST/SC categories candidates must have scored at least 45% marks in the intermediate exam.

CUCET 2022 Exam Eligibility Criteria for PG Candidates

• The applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognised University/College.
• The General Category candidates must have scored a minimum 55% marks in the graduation.
• The ST/SC/OBC categories candidates must have scored 50% marks in the graduation.

CUCET 2022 Exam Eligibility Criteria for Ph.D.Candidates

• The candidates must have a master’s degree from a relevant stream. The applicant for the General category requires 55% marks, SC/ST requires 45% and the OBC applicants require 50% marks to be eligible for the CUCET exam.
• The candidate can be exempted from the entrance exam if the candidate has cleared UGC-CSIR JRF, GATE, NBHM or has qualified any national level exam.  But they have to get registered themselves in CUCET 2022.

Important Points to Note for CUCET Exam 2022

• The candidates applying for the CUCET exam must be citizens of India.
• The final year appearing candidates can also apply for the examination but they need to submit the passing proof before the CUCET examination date.

CUCET 2022 Application Form

CUCET 2022 application form is expected to be released by the 3rd week of March 2022 by NTA. The notification updates of the exam and application form of CUCET will be updated on the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA). The Application form and registration link will be appearing for 25-30 days after it is updated on the website. The candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria of CUCET 2022 can only fill the application form. The application form can be filled only in online mode.

An official list of participating universities is yet to be announced by CUCET on their website but more universities are expected to be participating in CUCET 2022. The inclusion of Delhi University (DU) and Jawaharlal University (JNU) will add more seats for CUCET 2022 exam. The number of applicants is also expected to increase with the inclusion of these two universities. The updated list of participating universities is mentioned below.

CUCET 2022 Exam Pattern

CUCET 2022 Cut Off Marks

The Cut Off of CUCET 2022 will be announced only after the declaration of result. The cutoff marks will vary for all the participating universities in CUCET 2022. The cutoff will be the minimum marks required to take admission to a particular university for a specific course.

CUCET 2022 Syllabus

The examination pattern of CUCET is divided into two segments. There is no fixed syllabus for CUCET as now an official can be out soon. The courses for Part A, i.e. Aptitude & English can be outlined with reference to previous year questions.
