What is the PSTET Exam 2024?

PSTET, Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test, is a state-level exam administered by the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) to determine candidates' eligibility for positions as Primary (Classes 1–5) and Upper Primary (Classes 6-8) level teachers in the government schools of Punjab. The Punjab TET 2024 exam will be held in two shifts and consist of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. PSTET Eligibility Criteria 2024

Candidates should read the Punjab TET 2024 eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. The eligibility criteria for the different papers are shown below.

PSTET Educational Qualifications 2024

Primary Teachers (Class I to V)

• Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with a minimum of 50% or appearing in the final year of a two-year Elementary Education Diploma.

• Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with a minimum of 45 percent or in the last year of a two-year Elementary Education Diploma program.

• Senior Secondary School (or equivalent) with a minimum of 45 percent or the last year of a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

• Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with a minimum of 45 percent or the last year of a two-year Education Diploma (Special Education).

• Graduated from high school or are in the last year of a two-year Elementary Education diploma program.

Upper Primary Teachers (Class VI to XII)

• Graduation or completion of a two-year Elementary Education Diploma program.

• Passed or enrolled in a one-year Bachelor of Education program with a minimum of 50% marks (B.Ed).

• Graduation with at least 45 percent marks or passing or enrolling in a one-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program in line with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations.

• Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with a minimum of 50% or the last year of a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

• Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% passing or appearing in the last year of a four-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed program.

• Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and passing or enrolling in a one-year B.Ed. program (Special Education).

How To Apply For PSTET 2024?

Candidates who have met the eligibility requirements can fill out the PSTET 2024 application form. To apply for the PSTET exam 2024, a candidate must be at least 18 years old. Candidates must complete the following steps to register for the exam.

• Step 1: Go to the official website.

• Step 2: On the webpage, click "New Registration and Applicant Login."

• Step 3: To register, click on the registration link. A new page will be opened for the candidate.

• Step 4: Candidates must select the 'continue' option and provide the requested information.

• Step 5: After selecting 'Register Me,' the candidate will be routed to a new page containing the login information.

• Step 6: On the new page that appears, enter your login details.

How To Download PSTET Answer Key 2024?

PSTET Result 2024

The Punjab TET 2024 exam results are yet to be released. Candidates can verify their results on the PSTET exam's official website. To pass the exam, students must achieve a minimum score of 60% on the PSTET. Candidates who fall into the SC/ST/OBC categories are given a 5% reduction in the exam fee. Recently, the Punjab High Court, by its historical verdict, announced that an additional 1 mark will be awarded to the candidates who answer the questions of the written test in the Punjabi language.
