NIT Srinagar has started the admission process for 2024 academic year. For BTech admission at NIT Srinagar, JEE Main 2024 phase 2 registration has begun. The NTA will conduct JEE Main session 2 from April 4 to April 15. 

NIT Srinagar is a public university of technology in Srinagar, Jammu, and Kashmir, India. It was founded in 1960 as one of six Regional Engineering Colleges as part of the Government of India's Second Five-Year Plan (1956–1961). It is administered by the National Institutes of Technology Act of 2007, which recognizes it as an Institute of National Significance. 

The University Grants Commission, the All-India Council of Technical Education, and the Government of India accorded the institution Deemed University status in 2003. JEE Main 2024 Exam Dates

NIT Srinagar admission process has started for BTech and MTech programmes. JEE Main session 2 registration has begun and will end on March 2 while the exam will be held in online mode from April 4 to 15. For NIT Srinagar admission in MSc courses, IIT JAM will be held on February 11 and the result will be announced on March 22. 

NIT Srinagar admissions for the B.Tech courses are done through the JEE Main examinations, while M.Tech admissions are done based on the scores of the GATE examinations. NIT Srinagar admission to MBA course requires a valid score in either CAT or MAT exams which will be followed by a GD-PI round for shortlisted candidates. M.Sc admissions are done on the basis of IIT JAM scores and PhD admissions are done on the basis of UGC NET/GATE/ CSIR NET scores, followed by a written test and PI round.

The minimum cutoff determines the percentage of candidates who are eligible for JoSAA counselling. The category-wise JEE Main 2023 cut-off has been made public.
