Hospital
In 1925, the Patna General Hospital was renamed Patna Medical College Hospital as a consequence of the conversion of the temple medical school into a medical college and the development of the hospital to a level suitable for the teaching of medical graduates.
The E.N.T. department's building included 86 beds, four cabins, and an operating room. Prior to 1932, the general management of the hospital was the responsibility of the principal of the Patna Medical College.
A new cottage hospital with 18 rooms was built beside the original cottage hospital on August 15, 1951, and has been in operation since 1955. In 1955, a new surgical block named after the late president of India, Dr Rajendra Prasad, was inaugurated.
