NATA 2024 application form was released on March 1, and the registration process is ongoing at nata.in. Candidates fulfilling the NATA eligibility criteria 2024 can apply for the NATA exam 2024. The last date to apply for NATA 2024 is yet to be released by the authorities. The NATA application process 2024 comprises online registration, filling out application forms, uploading of necessary documents, payment of the application fee, and form submission. The NATA 2024 exam is being held from April 6 to July 2024 on every weekend; Saturday and Sunday.

Steps to Fill NATA Application Form 2024

Candidates should go through the NATA eligibility criteria 2024 before filling out the application form so that their candidature does not get rejected at a later stage. The NATA 2024 registration process can be broadly divided into 3 important steps Personal details, Document uploading and Fee Payment. The step-by-step process to fill out the NATA application form 2024 is as follows -

Step 1 - Personal details

• Candidates will first have to visit the official portal of NATA and generate a username and password.

• Enter the details such as name, Father’s name, Mother’s name, Postal address and Date of birth, these details should be valid.

• After entering the details, A 7-digit numeric application number will be generated.

• Create a password for further login purposes.

Step 2 - Document uploading

After registering, applicants will have to upload the necessary documents like:

• Photograph: Applicants will have to upload their recent Passport-size Photograph with front view and both ears visible.

• Signature: Applicants will have to upload their scanned signatures in black/blue ink only.

All documents must be in A4 format

Step 3 - Application Fee Payment

• To complete the procedure, applicants will have to pay the NATA 2024 application fee.
• The application fee varies according to the category of the candidate.
• When a candidate clicks "Payment of fee using EPG services," the system will instantly redirect to the website's payment gateway page.
• Candidates can pay the application fee via an electronic payment gateway like a debit card, credit card, or net banking.
• Following successful payment, the payment gateway will transfer the candidate to the home page, which will display the status of fee payment. 

Step 4: Download Confirmation Page

• When candidates successfully pay the NATA application fees, the Confirmation Page will be created. Its appearance indicates that the applicant has successfully registered for NATA 2024. 
• The candidate should print the confirmation page and keep it for future reference. 
  

Documents Required to Fill NATA Application Form 2024

The following are important documents that have to be kept handy before filling out the NATA 2024 application form.

• SSC Number or Class 10+2 Marksheet
• Class 12 details
• Valid photo ID proof such as Aadhar card, passport, class 12 admit card with photo and signature or college ID card
• Scanned copy of candidate’s photograph in JPG/JPEG format and size from 4KB to 100KB
• Scanned copy of candidate’s signature in JPG/JPEG format and size from 1KB to 30KB
• Caste certificate if a candidate is applying through reservation
• PwD certificate if a candidate is applying through PwD category

How to Retrieve NATA Candidate ID ?

Candidates retrieve their IDs (If lost) by following certain steps. We have provided the steps in the pointers below:

• Candidates need to visit the official website of NATA 2024

• Candidates will have to click on the option called “ Find NATA Candidate ID” on the homepage of the website

• Clicking on the option will lead to the opening of a dialogue box where the candidates will enter certain details such as roll number of 10th standard, year of passing the secondary level final examination, board name of secondary level etc

• Candidates will then have to enter the verification code and then click on “Find Candidate ID”

• The candidate id will then be displayed on the screen

Note: Candidates who lose their password can also set a new one by clicking on the “Forgot Password” link

Steps to Check NATA 2024 Application Status

It is possible for the candidates to check the application status of NATA 2024. We have provided the steps in detail which have to be followed by the applicants in order to do so:

• The candidates will have to visit the official website of the NATA entrance examination.

• They will have to log in in order to proceed with further steps.

• Candidates will have to enter credentials like application number and password in the input box.

• They need to click on the “Submit” option.

• Submission of the details will lead to the entire NATA 2024 application form being displayed on the screen.

• Once the candidates can view their NATA application form 2024 they will be able to find the empty fields to be marked in red and the filled-up fields to be marked in green.

• If the payment of the application form has not been done by the candidates, they will be able to see a message saying the payment is incomplete or pending on the screen

• Candidates are then required to make the necessary changes and submit the completely filled application form

The Council of Architecture (CoA) allows the candidates to rectify the mistakes made by them on the NATA 2024 application form. The candidates are given this one opportunity to correct their mistakes on the NATA application form 2024. Here are some important details regarding NATA 2024 application form correction. 

The steps for form corrections have been mentioned in the pointers below:

• Candidates will have to create a new ticket on the HelpDesk with the title of “Error Correction:<>”.

• Candidates will then have to mention the nature of the error and the correction required.

• They will also have to attach scanned copies of the original documents supporting the change one is seeking.

• It is also advisable for the candidates to contact the exam authority for assistance.

Details Which can be Edited/Modified in NATA Application Form 2024

Candidates can only alter/modify/edit a certain set of information on the NATA 2024 application form which is as follows - 

• Candidates’ name

• Date of birth details

• Candidates’ gender information

• Name of the father

• Name of the mother

• Cellular contact details

• Residence details

• Nationality

• Address of correspondence

• Details regarding education

• Examination centre choice

The candidates cannot change any other details on the submitted NATA application form 2024 except for the ones mentioned above.

Do’s

• Before filling out the online NATA application form 2024, carefully read the online instructions.
• Enter all of your personal information, including your address and date of birth, correctly in your NATA application form 2024. 
• Keep your application number, security question/answer, and password handy.
• Only a color photograph and signature of the appropriate size should be uploaded during the NATA 2024 registration. 
• Choose the appropriate examination zones.
• Save a copy of the confirmation Page for your records.

Don'ts

• Don't tell anyone your NATA 2024 application number, security question/answer, or password.
• Don't provide an invalid or unused cellphone number or email address when filling out the form.
• Candidates should confirm that the email address provided in the application form is active. If they do not comply, they may face major issues with future correspondence.
• Uploading scans of signatures and photos of poor quality is not recommended.
• Do not mail a completed confirmation page or any other document to the CoA office.
