The University of Lethbridge is a public research university founded in 1967 and is one of the four comprehensive academic and research universities in Alberta, Canada. The University of Lethbridge is recognized as one of the best universities in Canada by Maclean’s University Rankings. The university is located in Lethbridge, southern Alberta, a city known for its commercial, industrial, research, and technology hub. The motto of the University of Lethbridge is ‘Let there be light’ which symbolizes the importance of education and learning. uLethbridge is a large university that focuses on offering intensive higher education in various fields like Arts, Sciences, Fine Arts, Management, Education and Health Sciences. Maclean’s University Rankings 2021 has recognised the University of Lethbridge among the top 2 universities for Medical Science Grants, primarily in the undergraduate category, meanwhile, the university has also been recognised among the top 4 and top 5 for Student Services and Student Awards, respectively.

The main campus of the University of Lethbridge is located in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. The other campus is situated in the city of Calgary, Alberta. Lethbridge provides a world-class environment for learning and research as well as personal growth. The academic degree programs at the University of Lethbridge is offered under seven faculties namely: Faculty of Arts & Science, Dhillon School of Business, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Fine Arts, School of Graduate Studies, Faculty of Health Sciences, and School of Liberal Education. The faculty at uLethbridge are among some of the world-renowned members, with 5 Royal Society of Canada Fellows, 13 Canada Research Chairs, 2 3M National Teaching Fellows and other renowned members working within the university.

Lethbridge boasts of some of the greatest minds who are or have been a part of faculty members, researchers, and student body. Every year, around 1,600 students graduate from the University of Lethbridge and become a part of the alumni community. The University of Lethbridge’s alumni community is a network of more than 47,000+ people who can be found around the world. uLethbridge alumni play important roles for the community as a professional, entrepreneur, leader, or social worker. As a member of the uLethbridge alumni community, an individual can also benefit from a number of schemes, plans, and educational discounts offered by the university. The uLethbridge alumni also include 8 Olympians, 2 Olympic Medals and 1 Paralympian as well, meanwhile, it also prides itself on the 3 Rhodes Scholars who have completed their higher education from the university.
Student Diversity & Visiting Companies
As of September 2020, 8,984 students have been enrolled at the University of Lethbridge among which 548 were international students from across 90 countries. Over the years, Lethbridge has managed to shape the lives of the youth by offering a learning environment and quality education. The outcome of this is that Lethbridge’s Graduate employment rate is quite high. As per the university’s record, around 95.5 % of students of Lethbridge find employment soon after the completion of their studies.
