Tuition fees for higher education at the universities of Holland vary according to the university. Students can find Dutch universities which are Government-funded as well as Private. Tuition fees do not cover the cost of books, uniforms or extra courses taken by a student. The student will have to bear these costs on his/her part.

Government Funded Universities: These universities define two types of tuition fees namely Statutory fees and Institutional fees. Statutory fees are paid by the students of the Netherlands or students belonging to EU/EEA countries. Students from other countries must pay institutional fees.

Private Universities: Private Universities in Holland offer Bachelor’s, Master’s and Preparatory courses. The tuition fees for Preparatory courses are usually the same for both domestic and international students.
