Hungary is a relatively small country situated in Central Europe landlocked by Slovakia to the north, Serbia to the south Austria to the west, Romania to the east and southeast, Ukraine to the northeast and Croatia and Slovenia to the southwest. The capital city of Hungary ‘Budapest’ is also the largest city of the country. Lake Balaton of Hungary is the largest lake in Central Europe and is it is often referred to as the Hungarian Sea.
In the last few years, there has been a steady rise in the number of foreign students joining the institutes in Hungary. The scholarships are offered at all levels, be it undergraduate (UG) level, postgraduate (PG) level, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) level or Master of Philosophy (M Phil) and it covers tuition fees, monthly allowance, medical insurance of the student. Some of the popular courses offered at Hungary include Business Management and Engineering, Information Technology (IT), Natural & Life Sciences, and Economics.
