Highlights of CEOWorld World’s Best Countries For International Students Rankings, 2021

Here are the highlights of the CEOWorld World’s Best Countries For International Students Rankings, 2021 to give you a brief overview of the same:

• The rankings are put forward based on various data points from sources such as World Economic Forum, Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), the United Nation’s Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), U.S. News and World Report, Times Higher Education´s World University Rankings, ShanghaiRanking Consultancy, QS Top Universities, Center for World University Rankings (CWUR), Reuters World’s Top 100 Innovative Universities, CWTS Leiden Ranking, University Ranking by Academic Performance, the Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS), Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), the World Bank and Progress in International Reading Study (PIRLS).

• The survey includes over 185,200 replies that were collected between December 12, 2020, and January 20, 2021.

• The US tops the list with Australia, UK, Canada, and France grabbing the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th positions respectively.

• 11 equally-weighted indicators have been considered to curate this list, which includes access to high-quality teaching, education system, government expenditure on education, industrial linkage, number of research institutions, specialisation expertise, university funding and endowment, student visa, institutional output by research, and post-study work visa. Each of these indicators was graded on a 1-100 scale to obtain a final score.
