ACT Test Dates 2022 Released: Check June and July Dates

ACT test dates 2022 in India for the months of June and July along with ACT registration dates have been announced by the ACT conducting body. 

ACT stands for American College Testing which is a standardized test used by US universities and 200+ universities outside the US to admit undergraduate applicants.

The ACT exam comprises four multiple-choice tests in the areas of English, reading, math and science and an optional writing test. For international students, the ACT test is offered in a computer-based format, which allows quick scoring, between two and three business days, and more opportunities to attempt the test.

ACT Test Dates 2022

The ACT dates for June and July have now been released. The students who wish to appear for the ACT test can book the ACT Exam by visiting the official website of ACT.

ACT Registration Last Date 2022

The students can start registering for the June and July 2022 ACT exam dates. While registering, they must keep in mind the ACT registration last date to avoid the late fee.

Registration with Late Fee 2022

After the last ACT registration date, students can still register themselves for the ACT exam by giving a late fee along with the ACT registration fees. The late fee for ACT Registration is USD 36.

Note: New ACT exam dates 2022 will be updated as and when the conducting body of the ACT exam announces them.

How Many Times ACT is Conducted in India?

ACT is conducted eight times a year in India and the students can choose suitable ACT exam dates as per their convenience and chosen admission intake in the US or any other study destination. For Indian ACT candidates, the ACT test dates fall in the months of July, September, October, December, April, February, April and June. Also, the ACT test is usually scheduled on weekends.

What Month is the Best to Take the ACT?

If students wish to take the ACT exam for the first time, then it is best to take the ACT test on or before June when they are still in 12th standard. They can attempt the test stress-free and also have the opportunity to appear for the ACT exam a second time if they find their ACT scores unsatisfactory.

Also, one should note the admission deadlines of the US universities so that they can clear the ACT exam well before that and submit scores accordingly. For the Fall or September intake in the US, which is the most popular intake in the country, it is better to take the ACT exam by April of the year of application. Or else, candidates can follow the specific deadlines of the US colleges and choose ACT test dates international based on the same.

In case a student wants to apply for the Winter or Spring intake 2023 in the USA, they can choose the available ACT dates in July 2022.
