According to DY Patil International School's press release, the University Fair had over 40 booths showcasing colleges and universities. The key things that were observed at the DYPIS Career Fair 2022 are as follows:

  • Many non-English speaking European countries have their eye on India and Indian students.

  • The USA wants to preserve its status as a worldwide education leader.

  • Some of the favourite study abroad destinations for Indian students, such as the UK and Australia, bank on work opportunities and visa facilities.

  • Many Indian students are drawn to new age and out-of-the-box programmes at foreign universities.

During the day-long event, visiting students and parents had the opportunity to hear professional advice on choosing the right course/degree and country to pursue an illustrious career after completing the course. Throughout the event, a panel discussion with industry professionals and a series of Break Out Sessions were thoughtfully selected for a complete knowledge and information exchange.

The IBDP students of D Y Patil International School also took the opportunity to moderate the Panel Discussion 'India as an Emerging Superpower,' which included Dr Ajeenkya D Y Patil (Chairman, D Y Patil Group, Chancellor of Ajeenkya D Y Patil University, and Pro-chancellor of Dr D. Dr Pratibha Jain (Founder, Eduabroad Consulting), Mr Sandeep Ghosh (Group Country Manager - India & South Asia, Visa) and Mr Arun Tiwari (Chairman, IndusInd Bank Ltd).

The speakers shared their perspectives and experiences with the expanding job market in India, where most global corporations rely on local talent and are hence establishing enormous offices due to the potential. They also discussed how digitization has resulted in the development of more jobs and has helped the country's economy thrive, paving the road for it to become an emerging superpower.

Having said that, the break-out sessions, namely - India vs Abroad, touched on the changing dynamics of how futuristic talent for innovation is now increasingly being found in India rather than abroad; new ways to enter and sustain as an entrepreneur in the digital age; and the importance of the evolving concept of engaging masses through Podcast and how to use Communication better in the virtual world.
