Latest Update (March 8, 2022): In an attempt to expand the educational resources available and encourage international students to pursue education in the country, Israel’s education department is offering three scholarships to academically meritorious students of India. Israel has some of the best educational institutions for science and medicine studies.
The names of the top three scholarships for the Indian students offered by Israel are Ministry of Foreign Affairs Scholarships, Excellence Fellowship Programme for International Postdoctoral Researchers, and PhD. Sandwich Fellowship Programme.

(January 7, 2022): Seeing the potential of international students, especially Indian students, the Israeli Government has announced scholarships, particularly for Indian students for AY 2022-23. As per reports, the Israeli government will be offering three different types of scholarships, i.e. a Summer Language Course Scholarship, a One-Academic Year Scholarship, and a Partial One-Academic Year scholarship.
The scholarship opportunity will be covering partial tuition fees of the students, i.e., 50% of fees up to a total of $6,000 to $12,000 or higher. As per media reports, the scholarship scheme also covers various aspects of studying in Israel such as Basic Health Insurance and a monthly allowance for the period of 8 months starting October and ending in June. Students interested in applying for the scholarship must do so by December 30, 2021.

The Partial One Academic Year Scholarship will offer students a monthly allowance for one academic year along with covering the costs of basic health insurance. Meanwhile, the Summer Language course scholarship will cover the entire tuition fees as well as offer a three-week allowance, basic health insurance, and dormitories.
Eligibility Criteria for Israel Government Scholarship for Indian Students
Those interested in applying for the scholarship programme offered by the Government of Israel must meet the following eligibility criteria:

Applicants should possess a BA or BSc degree or higher with a good academic achievement record.

Applicants should be under 35 years of age to apply for the scholarship and be a citizen of the country from where they are applying for the same.

Students should be A2 visa holders issued by the appropriate Israeli Embassy.

Applicants should provide proof of language proficiency in either English or Hebrew languages.

Applicants should qualify the minimum academic requirements outlined by the Israeli University they have applied to.

Applicants will receive their scholarship once the university they have applied to have accepted the applicant as a student.

Application Process for Israeli Government Scholarships for Indian Students
If you meet the eligibility criteria for the Israeli government scholarships then you are advised to go through the following application processes for scholarships offered by the government to Indian students:

Complete the entire application form for the scholarship.

Attach a detailed letter outlining a brief of the field of study that you wish to pursue in Israel, while also naming the university or institute they wish to enrol in.

Submit a Curriculum Vitae

Submit copies of letters exchanged with the Israeli Universities. For those applying for research or postdoctorate, submit copies of letters that have been exchanged with the Israeli supervisor.

Submit either official original academic records or notarized copies of the relevant studies, diplomas, test scores that prove the completion of a recognised academic degree.

Two letters of recommendation from lecturers or professors who have taught the applicants.

Three photographs of the applicant

A certificate of health.
