New Book to Clarify All Possible Doubts of Students 'Planning to Study Abroad'

Wish to study abroad but finding it a very costly affair? Here is a new book that promises to give a comprehensive view of all the aspects of pursuing higher education abroad.

New Book to Clarify All Possible Doubts of Students 'Planning to Study Abroad'

Deepti Sharma, a Global Counsellor from the University of California, USA has releaseda book called 'Planning to Study Abroad: A Comprehensive Guide'. The book has been written in partnership with two of her academic colleagues Aarti Sharma and Prof. Shiv Kumar Sharma.

The book was released at the Model Institute of Engineering and Technology in J&K by the director of MIETProf. Ankur Gupta and the patron of theForum for Awareness of National Security Prof. K.L Bhatia. Dr Sahil Sawhney, Sr. Strategic Manager of MIET were also present at the book launch.

In the book, the authorshavecomprehended the problems of Indian students who wish to study abroad but are befuddled and discouraged by the cost and means to study there. Thousands of students from Jammu and Kashmir have similar aspirations but the misconceptionof costly education clips the wings of their dreams.The book is bound to help the aspirants with its treasure of information on all the aspects of studying abroad and clarify all the doubts harboured in their minds.

The author wrote in detail about 17 prospective countries where 96% of the Indian students usually choose to study. The countries that attract most of the students are UAE, Canada, the USA, the UK, and Australia, to name a few. The book further covers popular globally-rankeduniversities, courses, cost of education in each country, scholarships, available financial aids, visa formalities, and a timeline for actions to be taken before going to foreign countries. Entrance and language proficiency tests like TOEFL, IELTS, SAT, GRE, and GMAT have also been covered by her.

It is heartening news that with financial aid and scholarships, bright students can study abroad even free of cost. It came as a surprise to many that studying MBBS abroad is cheaper in some of the European and Asian countries than in India.

Aarti Sharma, the co-author has visited North American and European countries and is attached with international students at IB and IGCSE Schools. She has provided her valuable inputs to the book. Prof. S.K Sharma, on the other hand, has receivedAti Vishisht Seva Medal from the President of India and is presently working in the Model Institute of Engineering and Technology.
