Social scholarships will be awarded to Indian students at Nottingham Trent University who have remarkably contributed to the betterment of society.

Nottingham Trent University Announces Social Scholarship for Indian Students

University Living together with Nottingham Trent University, UK have introduced a social scholarship for Indian students who have contributed to forming a better society and environment and also left an impact on the people around them. The scholarship will motivate students to help towards the upliftement of society.

The scholarship does not take into consideration of the academic excellence of the students. It will be given solely after assessing the social impact of the project of the students on the society in past few years. The scale of the impact or the number of people will not be the deciding factor behind the scholarship.

The amount of the scholarship is GBP 5,000.

Eligibility for the Social Scholarship at Nottingham Trent University

Here are the criteria for the social scholarship offered at Nottingham Trent University:

  • The social scholarship will be received by students who are citizens of India.

  • They are applying to Nottingham Trent University for undergraduate, postgraduate or diploma courses.

  • The students must have an offer letter for a full-time course from the university.

The scholarship will be valid for the fall intake of 2022.

How to Apply for Social Scholarship at Nottingham Trent University?

The process to apply for the social scholarship is given below:

  • The students need to visit the official website of University Living.

  • Then they should click on the scholarship tab.

  • After that, they have to fill up the application form.

  • A video has to be recorded of the social impact and has to be uploaded on Instagram tagging University Living and the University of Nottingham Trent.

Saurabh Arora, Founder and CEO of University Living, commented that the idea of the scholarship was to encourage students to study abroad as well as celebrate those students who make a difference and create a social difference in society around them. He calls the scholarship a scholarship with a soul.
