Portsmouth University, UK and Edith Cowen University, Australia have joined hands to offer students a chance to earn dual degrees. The two institutions have collaborated to offer five new dual degrees .
The announcement was made at a webinar where Vice Chancellors of both the Universities were present. Chris Chang, deputy vice-chancellor of global engagement and student life at Portsmouth, expressed that the new programs are unconventional and exciting. He also mentioned that the programs have been developed after continuous discussions for two and a half years.
During the webinar, Simon Ridings, deputy vice-chancellor international at Edith Cowan University, also spoke how they have gone through the lengthy process of creating fresh courses from scratch.

Students who enrol for these courses will not just end up earning two degrees, but they will also greatly benefit from each institution's teaching expertise, research and facilities.
Another benefit is the 'reduced fees' that one has to pay as an exhange student.
Portsmouth University specialises in courses like Criminal Justice, Pharmacy, Palaeontology, Mechanical Engineering, Criminology, and many more. Some of the most reputable study programs at the university have consistently ranked in top categories by various associations.
Edith Cowen University has over 400 courses offered through various schools like Arts and Humanities School, Business and Law School, Education School, Medical and Health Sciences School, Engineering School, Science School, and Nursing and Midwifery School.
