One such country is the USA, where an Open Doors survey, a government-sponsored platform, revealed that 2021-22 Indian student numbers have surpassed pre-pandemic levels.

According to the report, in 2019-20 there were about 1.93 lakh Indian students, while the number dipped in 2021-20 when only 1.67 lakh Indian students enrolled in US universities. The data further revealed that in 2021-22 the number rose to 1.99 lakh.
