The University of Birmingham is all set to open a new campus in Dubai to offer the same internationally-recognised degree certificates offered in the UK. The new campus will be welcoming international students including from India with a merit-based scholarship of up to 40% across undergraduate and postgraduate levels from September 2021.
The institution had announced in 2017 that it would open a campus in Dubai in the international education hub.
Professor David Sadler, Provost University of Birmingham Dubai said that the new building will be an “intelligent campus” offering cutting-edge technology, flexibility leading to innovation and “multidisciplinary teaching and learning. Colleagues coming from the Birmingham campus to teach in Dubai would immediately be at home in our teaching spaces.
The state-of-the-art campus will be established in Dubai International Academic City (DIAC) and will provide a modern academic home capable of adapting to changes in learning, technology and the climate.
The university will also allow students to gain the skills and expertise sought by top employers in the current global marketplace.
