The Boston College is a globally recognized university established in 1863 and is located in Boston, Massachusetts. The college is academically affiliated with the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities, New England Association of Schools and Colleges, 568 Group, Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities, Association of Independent Colleges and Universities in Massachusetts, National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities. According to the US News and World Report 2020 edition, Boston College is ranked at 37 among the Best Colleges in National Universities.

Infrastructure, Campus & Courses

Boston College is spread across 340 acres and is situated in a suburban campus. The main campus is in Chestnut Hill (175-acres). The other campuses are Newton Campus and Brighton Campus which are the satellite campuses. It has various programs in bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, and doctoral degrees in all its nine schools and colleges. Apart from libraries, support centers, the college has athletic services like Flynn recreation complex, Alumni Stadium, Conte forum, Shea Field, and Soccer field. The most sought after courses are Biological Sciences, Business, Economics, Psychology, Finance, etc.

Accomplishments & Alumni 

The biggest accomplishment of the college is that it has enrolled over 14,600 students. The college distributes awards among teachers and students. The college also won the WWE Championship in 2003. The total number of alumni from Boston college is more than 1,82,736. Notable alumni from the university include Doug Flutie, Amy Poehler, Chris O'Donnell, Tip O'Neill and many more.

Student Diversity & Visiting Companies

Almost 53% of the undergraduates and 56% of the graduate students at Boston College are women. With 11% Asian origin students, the college also has approximately 10% of international students in the undergraduate course. The faculty holds doctoral degrees. Companies that visit the college are Accenture, Dunkin Brands, JP Morgan Chase, Bain Capital, KPMG to name a few.
