Indiana Wesleyan University, Marion is a private Christian university headquartered in Marion, Indiana. Earlier it was known as Marion Normal College. In 1988 the name of the institute was changed to Indiana Wesleyan University. Currently, it is one of the largest and most successful evangelical Christian universities in the world. According to US News & World Report 2020, University ranked, #25, in Regional Universities Midwest (tie), #14 in Best Undergraduate Training (tie), and #78 in Top Performer on Social Mobility (tie). University is Accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of North Central Associations of Colleges and Schools.

Infrastructure, Campus & Courses

University has nearly 320 acres of the main campus which includes 9 dormitories for students. Students can study from 80 undergraduate courses, 57 graduate degree programs, and 9 doctorate degrees. Courses are offered in Arts, Science, Music, Business Administration, Divinity, and Organizational Leadership. The football stadium of the University has 2500 seats and its construction was completed in 2018 before the football season.  Besides this, the students can also participate in Track and Field Sports, Baseball, Soccer, and other outdoor sports. Popular majors include Nursing, Education, Business Administration, Psychology.

Accomplishments & Alumni 

The various Nursing degrees (bachelor's, master's, and Doctor)at Indiana Wesleyan University are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. Notable Alumni of IWU include Joseph Kofi Adda (Member of Parliament in Ghana), Keith O’Conner Murphy (singer and songwriter), Laurell K. Hamilton (New York Times Bestselling Author)
