Tracing its roots to 1876, when it first opened its door, the University of Colorado Boulder is among the 36 public research institutions mentioned under the Association of American Universities. Recognised as a leader in Sciences, Law, Engineering and Arts, the University of Colorado Boulder is nexus for innovation and research. The University has been recognised for many feats such as helping in establishing 136 new startups, recognised as one of the top 20 universities to be granted US patents and many more. The Princeton Review ranks the University of Colorado Boulder as one of the top 10 universities for sustainability as well.

Infrastructure, Campus & Courses

Spread over hundreds of acres, the University of Colorado Boulder houses a number of state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities, all collaborating to provide a unique student experience. The University houses the country’s first US Green Building Council-certified LEED Platinum research lab, along with 10 student lab spaces situated in their novel ATLAS design technology programme. These state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities have been provided to facilitate globally competitive programmes in over 150 fields of study such as Engineering, Applied and Pure Sciences, Commerce and Management, Law, Education and much more. With an 18:1 student to teacher ratio, the University of Colorado Boulders is able to maintain a number 1 four-year graduation rate for Colorado Public Universities.

The efforts and dedication in not only becoming the best university in the country but also to produce the future leaders of the world, many accolades have been achieved by the University of Colorado Boulder. The Alumni members are proof of the accolades, with 5 Nobel laureates, out of which 4 were awarded for their contributions to Physics and 1 for Chemistry. The University also proudly boasts of its first woman Rhodes Scholar. Other notable alumni members also include many astronauts, McArthur Grant fellows and much more.
