CEED Dress Code 2026
Although there is no official dress code mentioned by the authorities, it is recommended that students wear comfortable clothes on the day of the exam. Wearing metallic dresses or accessories or clothes having too many pockets or hidden chambers will make the frisking process slow. Instead candidates must focus on clothes that will enable them to focus more on the exam.

What Clothes to Wear on Exam Day?
It is recommended that you wear simple, light weight and comfortable clothes on the day of the CEED exam.
- Light weight or comfortable clothes will help to focus more on the exam
- It is recommended to wear T-Shirts and trousers instead of tight bottom wears that can be uncomfortable.
- Do not wear clothes that have too many chains and pockets or hidden chambers.
What Clothes to Not Wear on Exam Day?
Candidates must know that the security screening and frisking at CEED exam centres are stringent. Therefore do not wear clothes that catch the eyes of the invigilator or exam centre coordinator.
- Do not wear clothes having metal chains, heavy metallic buttons, large zippers or studs attached.
- Avoid belts with large metal buckles, metal rings, watches, bracelets , heavy jewellery etc.
- Metals attached to jackets and pants will be flagged by security personnel.
Footwear and Jewellery Recommendations
Candidates appearing for the exam must follow these footwear, jewellery and accessories recommendations.
- Choose your footwear that is simple for example, flat sandals, flip-flops etc. Do not wear shoes with high heels.
- Shoes having chains and metals should be avoided
- Heavy boots and footwear must be avoided. This will increase the time of frisking.
- Avoid metal jewellery at any cost.
- Do not wear any earrings or rings irrespective of its size
- Nose rings must be avoided as well. Also take note that no junk jewellery is allowed inside the exam centre.
- Try keeping your accessories minimal

Note on Headgears and Scarves
Candidates must take note of the following points.
- The CEED exam is being conducted in winters therefore candidates will be wearing head scarves, mufflers, stoles and caps. But these items have to be removed at entry. After proper security screening aspirants can carry them.
- Religious turbans and hijab need to be mentioned to the centre coordinator for which necessary measures will be taken by the authorities.
- Unnecessary head coverings like caps and handkerchiefs need to be avoided.
