CLAT 2026 Admit Card Released: The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has issued the CLAT 2026 admit card for candidates appearing for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) exam, which is a crucial step for thousands of law aspirants all over the country who are waiting for admission to the NLUs and other top law schools.
The admit card can be downloaded from the official portal: consortiumofnlus.ac.in through the candidate log-in page by providing the registered mobile number and password. The CLAT 2026 exam shall be carried out in an offline (pen-and-paper) manner across India at the designated test centers. It consists of essential information like the name of the candidate, roll number, date of exam, reporting time, venue address, and essential exam-day directions. It is also one of the mandatory papers that need to be carried out as entry into the exam center, along with a valid photo ID proof.

CLAT 2026: Exam Day Instructions
Here are the important exam day instructions for candidates appearing in CLAT 2026 as per the Consortium of NLUs’ guidelines:
- Candidates should report to the exam center as per the reporting time mentioned.
- Should carry a printed copy of the admit card and a photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID Card, Driving License, or PAN Card). You will not be allowed without them.
- The use of any electronic devices, smartwatches, mobile phones, calculators, books, and paper are not allowed inside the examination hall.
- Candidates should bring only a blue or black ball pen. Rough sheets will be available at the exam hall.
- The admit card is to be produced at the entry gate and during the exam as and when demanded by the invigilator.
- Avoid wearing items with metal accessories such as belts, jewellery, or shoes with metal parts. Light and comfortable clothing is recommended.
- Some centers might also do a biometric check or take a photo for proof of identity.
- Disqualification will follow if there is ANY malpractice, exchange of communication with other candidates, or any disturbances.
- The examination will start at the time indicated on the admit card. Under no circumstances will those who arrive late be allowed into the examination room.
- All rough work is to be done on the sheets supplied. No writing or markings are allowed on the admit card and question booklet.
- When the paper is circulated, take care that it is well done and easily read. Report promptly if any pages are defective.
- Candidates are asked to remain seated until all answer sheets have been collected and the invigilator gives permission to leave.
- Keep a copy of admit card till the counselling and admission process.
