After the release of Round 1 seat allotment, candidates have to download the provisional allotment letter from the official website, have to pay the seat acceptance fee by the deadline, and report to the respective institute as per the schedule and get the documents verified. Candidates should ensure that all the certificates, photographs, and other relevant documents are ready in both original and photocopied forms.
Candidates who get a seat in Round 1 and want to try for a better seat in the next round can opt for upgradation while accepting the seat. By marking “Upgradation” as “Yes”, the candidate wishes to be considered for a higher option (by college/course combination) in Round 2, depending on the availability of seats, merit rank, and reservation category. Selecting “No” means the candidate is satisfied with his/her current allotment and does not want to participate in more rounds. In such situations, the seat allotted is considered to be frozen, and the candidate has to take the admission formalities at the institute allotted.
