NIFT Application Form Correction 2026 Begins on January 20: List of details allowed for editing
NTA activates the NIFT 2026 application correction window on January 20. Edit details like address, parents' names, academics, category, and test city till January 21, 11.50 PM, at exams.nta.nic.in/niftee. Remember, email, mobile, and your name cannot be changed.
NIFT Application Form Correction 2026 Begins:The National Testing Agency will activate the NIFT application form correction window onJanuary 20, 2026.Candidates who completed their NIFT registration 2026 before the last date can edit the application form. To correct, candidates should visit the official website atexams.nta.nic.in/nifteeon or beforeJanuary 21, 2026 (up to 11.50 PM).The authority will not accept any other mode of correcting the NIFT application form.
As per the official notice, the candidates can edit the details such as their address and their parents’ names. Nonetheless, the candidates will not be able to edit the details, such as the registered email addresses and the names of the candidates. Note that the NIFT application form correction is an one time facility. After the deadline, the authority will not entertain any request to correct the NIFT application form further, under any circumstances.
NIFT Application Form Correction 2026: Editable Fields
Candidates can edit the following fields in the NIFT 2026 application form:
- Personal details such as the names of the parents, nationality, and gender
- Academic information such as the passing year, marks, and board details
- Category details of the candidates. Note that the candidates should pay a different fee in case of changing the category of the candidates
- Test City Preference: Update the choice of cities
- Documents: If the photograph and the signature are rejected, then the candidates should re-upload them as per the specifications
NIFT Application Form Correction 2026: Non-Editable Fields
Candidates will not be allowed to edit all the fields in the NIFT application form 2026. Here is the list that cannot be edited.
- Registered email IDs
- Mobile numbers of the candidates that they added earlier
- Name of the candidates
Before submission, the candidates should thoroughly check the details mentioned in the NIFT application form. Once it is submitted, it cannot be edited.
