TNTET 2025 Paper 1 Qualifying Cutoff Marks 2025: The Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) 2025 Paper 1 exam is scheduled for November 15, 2025. The minimum qualifying marks for TNTET 2025 Paper 1 vary across categories. For the General category, candidates must score a minimum of 90 marks out of 150, which corresponds to 60% of the total marks. For candidates belonging to the SC, SC(A), BC, BC(M), MBC, DNC, and PWD categories, the minimum qualifying marks are 82 out of 150, which is equivalent to 55% of the total marks. For candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribes (ST) category, the minimum qualifying marks have been reduced to 40% or 60 marks out of 150, as per the government's one-time concession

Note: The Government has issued orders granting a one-time concession, reducing the minimum qualifying marks to 40% for Scheduled Tribes candidates appearing for the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2025.
Candidates who score the minimum qualifying marks or above will be declared qualified in the TNTET 2025 exam. The result will be declared on the official website, trb.tarnil.gov.in , and candidates can download their scorecards and certificates from the website. Qualified candidates will be eligible to apply for teaching positions in Tamil Nadu. The qualifying certificate will be valid for a lifetime, and candidates can use it to apply for teaching positions in Tamil Nadu.
