Scoring 20 marks in CAT QA 2025, which translates to a 60–65 percentile, is considered an average performance. While this percentile may offer shortlisting opportunities at a few newer IIMs—such as IIM Bodh Gaya, IIM Sambalpur, and IIM Sirmaur—it remains insufficient for most top and mid-tier IIMs, which require much higher QA cutoffs. Candidates aiming for competitive institutes should consider improving their preparation and retaking the exam. As the estimates are based on past trends, actual percentiles may vary depending on factors like normalisation, exam difficulty, and the number of test-takers.

Dear Student,

Since you have completed your Master’s in Psychology from Panjab University, your next step to become a trained clinical professional is to pursue an RCI-recognised Diploma in Clinical Psychology, also known as DCP. You should apply only to institutes approved by the RCI, such as IHBAS Delhi, RINPAS Ranchi, GFSU, or other government medical colleges offering DCP or M.Phil programs. Admission is usually through an entrance test and interview, and after completing DCP or M.Phil, you can obtain RCI registration to legally practice as a Clinical Psychologist in India.

Thank You
