The Amrita Entrance Examination Engineering (AEEE) is set to be conducted in phases for the 2026 admission cycle. AEEE 2026 Phase 1 exam dates are January 30 to February 1, 2026. AEEE 2026 Phase 1 Exam Day Guidelines

Guidelines for appearing in the AEEE 2026 Phase 1 exam include reporting time, documents to be carried, items that are forbidden, clothing to be worn, and other essential guidelines to be followed. Students must follow these instructions:

  • Arrive at least 60-90 minutes before the slot timings. For instance, students who have booked exam slot 1 (9 AM to 11:30 AM), must reach the exam centre by 7:30-8:00 AM. This will leave them enough time for security checks and verification process. Without completing these procedures, candidates shall not be allowed to take the test. Besides, once the gates are closed and the examination starts, students shall not be allowed to enter the hall.

  • Carry all necessary documents along with the printed copy of the AEEE admit card 2026 , a photograph identity card, and a passport photograph.

  • No students shall be allowed to leave the examination hall before the time specified.

  • In case any student is found to be indulging in any kind of unjust activity, the candidature of that student can potentially be cancelled.

AEEE 2026 Reporting & Gate Closing Time

AEEE 2026 is being held in three shifts on the exam days. Slot 1 timings are 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM; Slot 2 timings are 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM; and Slot 3 timings are 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM. The gates usually open 1-1.5 hous before the entry and close within 15 minutes after the exam starts. You are supposed to note down the timings and accordingly follow the guidelines.

List of Prohibited Items on AEEE 2026 Exam Day

In order to avoid malpractice and promote fairness, a list of items is prohibited by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, which every student is expected to acknowledge. Any student found in possession of any of those items will be disbarred and disqualified from examination.

  • Any kind of electronic gadgets, mobile phones, smart watches, Bluetooth devices, calculators, laptops, or tablets.

  • Food, beverages, or a water bottle with a cover. Only transparent water bottles are allowed.

  • Any sort of written notes or printed materials, chits, etc.

  • Bags, purses, wallets, geometry boxes, or any of these items found will result in immediate cancellation of the candidature.

Important Documents Required on AEEE Exam Day 2026

The candidates should produce specified original documents to be processed at the examination centres. Without these, your entry to the exams could be refused:

  • Printed the admit card for AEEE-2026, which was downloaded from the website.

  • A valid Government photo identity card, such as Aadhaar Card, PAN, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving Licence.

  • Passport photograph. The same as has been uploaded in the online form.

  • If you’re claiming PwD or Disability relaxation, then the required certificates are mandatory.

AEEE 2026 Dress Code

According to the official guidelines published in the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham guidelines, the following points have to be acknowledged regarding the code of dress:

  • Clothes should be comfortable and simple. Avoid wearing too much jewellery and other such accessories, which may need further checking.

  • Students should not wear loose clothes and sports shoes.
