Amity University, Noida and Amity University, Lucknow offer two-year full-time M.Ed postgraduate degree course with a different fee structure for sponsored and non-sponsored candidates. The admission to the programme is now closed and the last date to apply was October 31, 2022. All the candidates were supposed to apply online through the official website and pay an application fee of INR 1100 to successfully complete the further online application process. The admissions procedure has been carefully designed with student safety in mind. The new procedure does not call for applicants for admission to physically be present on campus. After registering for the application form, a link to the Admission Microsite will be made available that will allow you to post video responses to three questions: an introductory question, an English Language Skill question, and then a Subject Specific Question.

Candidates must note that a specialized portal in the form of an admission microsite, which is a two-way communication portal between candidates and the admission team, is accessible to receive all kinds of admission updates. The application process of Amity University can either be done online or offline. Students can opt for an online application process or an offline application process depending on their comfort. 

Here's how you can fill out the application form online:

Below are the steps to fill out the online application form for admission to the Amity University’s M.Ed postgraduate degree programme:

• Candidates must first register themselves on the Amity University’s official website. Candidates can register themselves by filling out details like their name, mobile number, nationality, and email address.
• After registration, candidates will receive their unique form number and form password.
• Using their form number and form password candidates need to re-login into their account on the Amity University’s official website.
• Once logged in, candidates will move to the next step of selecting the programme of their choice along with the campus selection. At this stage, candidates will also be required to choose if they simultaneously want to study an online course along with their selected degree course.
• At the next step, candidates will be required to pay an online application fee of INR 1100 prescribed by the Amity University.

Amity University M.Ed Admission 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Along with a general M.Ed, the university also offers two specializations in special education. The table given below will show you all the specializations offered along with their eligibility, and admission criteria.

​​​​​​Amity University M.Ed Admission 2022 Selection Process

The admission process of Amity University M.Ed 2022 is pretty straightforward. The candidates will be given admission on the basis of the marks obtained by them in the B.Ed programme. If the candidates are shortlisted for an interview, they will be called for an interview via email or SMS. The results will be declared via online mode only. It is compulsory for all the candidates to attend the interview process in order to get admitted into this course. If a candidate fails to attend the interview round, he/she will not be considered for admission. For the time being, the selection process is based on video responses to the questions posted through the VIDEO LINK available on Admission Microsite.

Candidates must note the following points with regards to the Amity University’s admission process.

• On the admission microsite, as well as via email and SMS, the selection-related information will be disseminated.
• On the admission microsite, an admission letter will be sent to each candidate who is chosen. The admission letter provides important details about the costs for each semester, the start date, time, location, allocation of a hostel (if requested), scholarships (if applicable), and the paperwork needed at the time of joining. • Admission will only be offered on a provisional basis for the current academic year. If the qualifying requirements and terms & conditions are not satisfied within the window of time specified in the admission letter, the admission offer will be automatically revoked.
• The Admission Committee may suggest admission to a category, programme, or campus for which the applicant may not have submitted an application on the application form. In these circumstances, the Admission microsite provides a program-specific option called a "Basket of Programs" that informs applicants of the change in category or programme and asks for their approval or execution of their choice, as applicable. Following receipt of confirmation, the admission letter will be posted on the admission website (www.amity.edu).
• Admission will be revoked for failure to submit the required payment or show up for classes by the deadline listed in the admission letter.
• Candidates other than Amity Alumni are not eligible for direct admission to a master's degree programme like M.Ed.
• The class 12th aggregate percentage will be determined using the marks earned in English and three academic subjects (compulsorily including eligibility-related topics AND omitting physical education, the fine and performing arts, and any vocational or non-written subjects). These topics will only be taken into consideration for the appropriate/selected programmes.
• Any foreign applicant must first complete 12 years of formal schooling followed by a bachelor's degree that must be earned in at least 3 years.
• Candidates should have passed the TOEFL with a score of 60 out of 120 in the iBT or an IELTS band of 6.5 in the absence of an English subject.
• AIU equivalency certificates are required for all holders of foreign degrees, diplomas, and certificates.

You can earn an equivalent certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Applying online is possible at www.aiu.ac.in. As applicable, the service charge for the issuance of an equivalence certificate must be paid by demand draft made payable to "Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi." The candidate is responsible for getting the AIU Equivalence Certificate, and the application will only be taken into consideration when the Equivalence Certificate has been presented.
