BCECE UGEAC Choice Filling

BCECE UGEAC Choice Filling 2023: The BCECE UGEAC registration process 2023 wil take place from June 5, 2023 to June 30, 2023 . The choice filling process for B.Tech admission in Bihar , also known as UGEAC 2023 will be commenced after the registration process of the BCECE UGEAC Counselling is over. All the candidates who successfully registered for the UGEAC counselling 2023 are eligible for the choice filling. The admission process for B.Tech in Bihar is based on JEE Main rank, and the counselling process is conducted by BCECE. The B.Tech admission process of Bihar is also known as Under Graduate Engineering Admission Counselling (UGEAC). It is mandatory for all the candidates to fill the choices for UGEAC to be eligible for the seat allotment. In addition, only those candidates featured in the UGEAC Merit List 2023 are eligible for choice filling.

Steps to Fill Choices for BCECE UGEAC 2023

The steps to exercise choices for Bihar UGEAC 2023 can be checked below –

Steps Particulars

Step 1

Visit the official website – bceceadmissions.nic.in

Step 2

On the homepage of BCECE admissions website, click on ‘Fill Choices for UGEAC’

Step 3

Enter the UGEAC ID, Password and Security Code

Step 4

The list of colleges and courses will be displayed on the screen. Select the colleges and courses in priority order and then ‘Lock the Choices’

Step 5

If you want to ‘Unlock’ the choices, click on the relevant option and edit the choices before the last date.

BCECE UGEAC Choice Locking & Unlocking Process

The choice filling portal of Bihar UGEAC will have two options such as Choice Locking & Choice Un-Locking.

Choice Locking: After filling the choices, the candidates can select this option only if he/ she feels confident about the college and course options selected in the choice filling. However, the candidates will have an option to Un-Lock the choices before the last date.

Choice Un-Locking: If the candidates wish to edit the choices/ college or course options, he/ she can log in through the official website of BCECE admissions and unlock the choices. After unlocking, edit the choices/ add new choices. The candidates will have to ‘Lock’ the choices after editing/ adding the choices.

After the last date of choice filling, the ‘Unlocking’ option closes, and the options filled before the last date shall be treated final.

BCECE UGEAC Choice Filling Tips

While exercising the choices, the candidates will have to be cautious. He/ she should choose the college as per his requirement, rank in JEE Main and previous year cutoff. It is advisable to fill as many choices as possible for better admission chances. The candidates can choose college & course options in the choice filling.
