NEET Bihar PG Counselling 2025 Application Process

As mentioned above, the NEET PG counselling for admission to Bihar colleges is held online. Therefore, candidates must be well aware of the various steps and documents that need to be adhered to when participating. The steps to register and complete the Bihar PG Counselling application process are explained below:

Step 1: Registration

In order to register, the applicant will need to fill in the information requested in the NEET PG Application form shown on the computer screen. He/she will have to provide a valid email ID and mobile number since all information about registration will be sent to the candidate through emails and SMS. The received email and SMS should contain an Activation Code, which will be used by the applicant to activate their account. After that, the candidate will need to click on the submit button

Step 2: Personal Information

After successfully completing the basic registration process, all candidates are required to enter their personal details such as the candidate’s name, age, educational qualification, parents' details, contact information, income details, identity proof, etc. Candidates will be able to submit their personal information for the record only after logging into their account by activating their login credentials and signing in on the official website. Once successfully completed this process, candidates must click on the "submit" button after careful consideration of the information entered. It is important to note that once the candidate's personal details are submitted, they will not be eligible to make further modifications to it afterwards.

Step 3: Upload Photo and Signature

After entering personal information, the candidate will need to upload a list of important documents required for their selection during their admission registration process. These include, their latest passport-size photograph and students signature. Candidates are required to submit their signatures in both Hindi and English (Not in capital letter) languages. It is important to note that all candidates must scroll through the required file size and file format for submitting the following documents prior to clicking on the ‘Save and Continue’ button. After successfully uploading the photo and signature files, candidates will be directed to the next step of the application form fill-up process.

Step 4: Educational Information

The next step is the submission of the educational qualification proof on the official registration portal. All candidates are required to upload a scanned copy of their Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets, Class 12 pass certificate, and other educational requirements in a PDF format, within the specified size dimension limit. It is important to strictly follow the instructions provided by the concerned authority regarding the uploading and submission, to avoid any last-minute cancellation of the application form. Once successfully completing the uploading process, candidates may click on the ‘Save & Continue’ button.

Step 5: Preview the NEET PG Application Form

Next, the candidate must verify all the information in every step. If any information is found to be wrong, then the applicant will need to click on the ‘Back to Edit’ button and make the corrections needed (if any). Once this is done, he/she will need to click the ‘Save & Continue’ option so that the entered information will be updated.

Step 8: Seat Allotment

NEET PG Seat allotment will be done based on the choices provided by the candidates and the availability of seats in Bihar colleges. Although candidates are usually assigned colleges by MCC as per their preferences, sometimes, it may so happen that due to differences in All India Ranking or limited seats, a candidate does not get a seat in the desired institute. In such cases, the candidate may have to await further vacancy announcements or opt for another college.

Step 9: Reporting to Allotted Colleges

The final step of the registration process is reporting to the allotted college for admission confirmation. This stage requires the candidates to carry their list of important documents submitted during the time of the registration process, to partake in the physical document verification process conducted by the respective institutes. Dear Student,

With a NEET PG score of 190 and a rank around 1,65,913, the chances of getting a clinical seat are very slim. Clinical branches such as Medicine, Paediatrics, Surgery, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and Radiology usually close at much higher scores and lower ranks, often within the top 50,000-70,000 ranks. At your rank, it is highly unlikely to secure a seat in any of these branches through All India Quota or State Counselling. But you may still have the option to apply for non-clinical or pre-clinical subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine, or Community Medicine, as …

Dear Student,

With a NEET PG rank 37000 in the general category, obtaining a government college seat for MD/DNB in Medicine or Paediatrics is likely not possible. However, you may be eligible for admission into these desired courses across private medical colleges in the later rounds of counselling.
