BITS Pilani B.E. (Hons), B.Pharm (Hons) and M.Sc (Hons) Admission 2022

The candidates planning to take admission B.E. (Hons), B.Pharm (Hons) and M.Sc (Hons) at BITS Pilani will have to sit in the BITSAT 2022 entrance test. The college holds the test every year. The candidate will first have to apply for the entrance test following which they will have to fill up the BITSAT application form.

BITSAT is a computer-based test wherein the candidates will be given the option of selecting the centre and the date on which he/she wishes to appear for the admission test on the year of admission. The test is a 3-hour long examination, with one mark allotted to each of the questions. There is negative marking for every wrong answer given by the candidate, however, no marks will be given if the question has been left out by the student.

Once the candidate passes the BITS Pilani eligibility criteria shall be allowed to sit for BITSAT 2019 and the admission process that will be undertaken after BITSAT has been conducted. General Eligibility Criteria For BITSAT 2022

Candidates who are appearing for their class 12 examinations this year or have appeared for their class 12 examinations last year are the only ones eligible for appearing for BITSAT-2022. If the candidate has appeared for the board examination more than once, the result obtained by the applicant in his/her latest attempt will be taken into consideration for the eligibility criteria.

The admission of the candidate will be based entirely on his/her merit. The merit will be based on the score obtained by the candidate in the BITSAT 2022. However, the score obtained by the candidate in their BITSAT examination will not suffice as enough reason for admission in one of the courses offered by BITS Pilani. The combination of BITSAT score and the minimum aggregate marks obtained by the candidate in their class 12 examinations will decide the admission status of the candidate. BITS Pilani will be releasing two different merit lists. One merit list will be given for the students who wish to take admission in BITS Pilani B.E. and M.Sc and the other merit list will be made only for those students who wish to apply for B.Pharm at BITS Pilani.

Note: Students who have received first ranks in their respective class 12 board examinations will be given direct admission into any one of the courses or specialisations of the choice of the topper.
