The Calicut University B.Ed admission 2023 started with the release of the application form on June 2, 2023. The first allotment list has been released on July 14, 2023 and candidates whose names appear on the 1st list have to take admission by July 20, 2023 (4 PM). The Calicut University B.Ed second allotment list 2023 is going to be released on July 24, 2023. The B.Ed admission at Calicut University is conducted by Calicut University's Directorate of Admissions. The B.Ed course extends for a period of two years with four semesters. Calicut University B.Ed Application Process 2023

The Calicut University B.Ed admission 2023 begins with the filling up of the online application form. The B.Ed application process for Calicut University is conducted through CAP. The application process includes new CAP registration, login and submitting basic registration, uploading a scanned photograph, filling in the application registration and choosing a college and paying the application fee.

Step 1: Mobile Number Verification and CAP Generation

The applicants for the Calicut University B.Ed admission 2023 need to verify their mobile number for generating the CAPID by clicking on “New CAP Registration”.
Enter your mobile number and click on “Send OTP” to verify the mobile number via SMS/ mail and fill in your details to generate CAP.
Candidates who did not receive the OTP, can click on “Resend OTP”.
Applicants can then generate the CAP for their subject.

Step 2: Registration, Photo Upload, College Selection and Final Verification

For registration, candidates have to login through their CAPID and Security Key received in the registered mobile number/ Email.
Enter your name, CAPID, address, date of birth, mobile, email, etc.
Verify the details that you have submitted and upload your photograph (size should not exceed 40Kb and width:150px height:200px, only JPEG files allowed).
Fill up other details, Weightage and Mark/ Grade details and the College course selection. After verifying, you can edit the basic details, college details and other weightage by clicking “EDIT Registration” and Edit College.

Step 3: Payment of Fee

Once you have verified all the details, candidates have to pay the application fee by clicking on the “Make Payment Button“.

Calicut University B.Ed Admission Eligibility 2023

The aspirants must fulfill the following eligibility criteria for Calicut University B.Ed Admission 2023.

Admission to the B.Ed program will be mostly limited to Kerala residents. Students from other states may be admitted to a maximum of 10% of the management quota seats in private self-financing colleges.
The candidate must have a B.A/B.Sc degree from the University of Calicut or a degree recognized as equivalent to a 10+2+3 pattern with 50 percent marks in parts I+II+III combined.
The candidate must have a Master's degree with a minimum of 50 percent marks or a 10+2+5 pattern for an integrated M.A/M.Sc course or a 10+2+3+2 way for an M.com.
Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a Bachelor's degree in technology with a minimum aggregate of 55 percent are eligible to apply for the B.Ed program in physical science and mathematical options.
There is no upper age limitation for enrollment to B.Ed programs.
Candidates from SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other backward categories will be relaxed in the required aggregate as per State rules.
Candidates who have completed their qualification exams outside Kerala must submit an Equivalency Certificate issued by the University of Calicut.
Applicants who have a graduation degree in Vocational or Specialized courses are also eligible, provided they submit a copy of this University's Equivalency Certificate.
