CAT OBC Reservation Criteria for Admission to IIMs

CAT OBC Reservation Criteria for Admission to IIMs: The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) have established reservation criteria for the CAT 2024 admissions that align with the Government of India's seat allotment suggestions. As a result, certain categories are allotted seats in each IIM, with the OBC category having a 27% seat reservation. IIMs provide entry to more than 5,500 seats overall. About 3,491 of these seats are allocated to the open category, 809 to the OBC category, and 538 to the SC/ST category. EWS and PwD candidates occupy the remaining seats.

Since CAT is highly competitive, if you have a valid certificate for one of the reserved categories, you might find it easy to secure a seat in the admissions process in 2024 considering your category designation. Taking this into consideration, here is an updated list of the CAT OBC reservation criteria for admission to IIMs across India.
