CBSE Class 10 Social Science 2023-24 Syllabus: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) published the CBSE Class 10 Social Science Syllabus 2023-24 at cbseacademics.nic.in. The Class 10 Social Science Syllabus 2023-24 of the CBSE Board comprises History, Geography, Political Science and Economics. Each of the sub-subjects will have 25% weightage and will carry 20 marks each in the examination. The History section will have a total marks weightage of 18 (+2 map pointing), while the Geography section will carry a total weightage of 17 (+3 map pointing) marks. The CBSE 12th Social Science exam 2024 will be conducted for a total of 100 marks, out of which 80 marks will be for the theory portion, and 20 marks will be allocated to project work. The maximum weightage carrying chapters are The Rise of Nationalism in Europe and Nationalism In India in History, in Geography it is chapters 4, 5, and 6, chapters 1, and 2 in Political Science, and Economics, chapters 1, 2, and 3.

The CBSE board has reduced the Class 10th Social Science syllabus by 30% for the academic year 2023-24. Students are advised to check the revised CBSE Class 10 Social Science syllabus 2023-24 as the board will conduct the upcoming exam based on the updated syllabus. The CBSE Class 10 Exams 2024 will commence on February 15 and will conclude on April 5, 2024. As per the CBSE Class 10 Exam Pattern 2023-24 of Social Science, there will be MCQs, Narrative Questions, and Case Study Questions.
