CUAP UG Admission 2024 through CUET: Dates, Application Process, Courses Wise Eligibility, Admission Process

Central University of Andhra Pradesh UG admission is done through CUET 2024. Candidates seeking UG admission in the Central University of Andhra Pradesh must register for CUET UG 2024. The CUET UG 2024 will be conducted on May 15 to May 31, 2024. The CUET UG 2024 will be held from May 15 to 31, 2024. The CUET UG registration process ended on April 5, 2024 at 09:50 pm. The NTA will release the CUET UG 2024 intimation slip in the last week of April 2024. Previously, the NTA extended the deadline until March 31, 2024. Additionally, the NTA closed the correction window on April 6, 2024.

Application Process of CUAP UG Admission through CUET 2024

Before applying, go through the following instructions and ensure to meet the guidelines listed below:

The application form must only be submitted online at cuapcuet.samarth.edu.in. Applications through any other modes/websites (including CUAP official website) will be considered invalid.
For registration, the candidate’s name, DOB, category, etc. personal details must be as per class 10th marksheet only.
The email address entered in the application form must be the candidate’s own and active email address. It will be required throughout the entire counselling process.
Once personal details are filled out, recheck all the profile details before submitting and locking. No further changes to it can be made hereafter.
Post the personal details, candidates will have to upload the following documents as per the given specifications:
- Passport Photograph: Size – 10 to 500 KB, Format – JPEG/JPG
- Signature: Size – 10 to 500 KB, Format – JPEG/JPG
- CUET Score Card: Size – 10 to 500 KB, Format – JPEG/JPG/PDF
- CUET Admit Card: Size – 10 to 500 KB, Format – JPEG/JPG/PDF
- Class 10th Marksheet & Certificate: Size – 10 to 500 KB, Format – JPEG/JPG/PDF, Scan in a single file and upload
- Class 12th Marksheet & Certificate: Size – 10 to 500 KB, Format – JPEG/JPG/PDF, Scan in a single file and upload
The registration fee (General/EWS/OBC: INR 500/- and SC/ST/PwD: INR 250/-) is applicable per programme.
- For example, if a candidate applies for B.A. Political Science, the application fee will be Rs. 500 (or 250, as per category) but if the candidate applies for B.A. Political Science in addition to B.Sc Economics, the total application fee will be Rs. 2*500 (or 250, as per category) = Rs. 1000 (or 500, as per category).
The fee must be paid online only using credit/debit cards or net banking options.

CUAP UG Admission 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The goal of conducting CUET 2024 is to assist all participating central universities in evaluating candidates' potential for undergraduate courses. Apart from evaluating candidates' merit through the exam, both NTA and universities have prepared their own eligibility criteria. As the candidates have to undergo CUAP UG Admission 2024 through CUET, we can categorize the CUET UG 2024 eligibility criteria into two sections: -

Eligibility Criteria instructed by NTA for CUET

According to National Testing Agency, no age limitations are there for the CUET appearing candidates.
Candidates have to be qualified in the class 12th or the equivalent examination
Candidates appearing in the class 12th examination are also eligible for CUET 2024.

Course-Wise Eligibility Criteria for CUAP UG Admission 2024

Political Science	Students must have passed(10+2) level of education from a recognized board/institution(Intermediate/CBSE/ICSE/HSC or equivalent examination) The students can be from any streams such as Arts/Science/Commerce or any other. Students must have scored a minimum of 45% marks in total. Students from SC/ST/PwD categories will get a 5% relaxation in the total marks.
B.Voc.	1. Travel and Tourism Management 2. Retail Management & IT	Students need to pass their class(10+2) with at least 45% marks in aggregate and from a recognized board/university. The students from all the streams such as Science/Arts/Commerce can apply for B.Voc Courses SC/ST/PwD candidates need to have 40% marks in aggregate to be eligible for the course.

CUAP UG Admission Process 2024

The CUAP UG Admission Process 2024 has started as the CUET result 2024 is declared. The central universities are responsible to carry out the final selection and admission process. Therefore, CUAP has started the admission process for the candidates.

Students will be selected depending on the eligibility and admission criteria, candidate’s rank in the merit lists, medical fitness, document verification, and other criteria instructed by the university. Dear student, the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will release the notification for admission to the MCh Cardiology course at Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology (SJIC) on its official website, kea.kar.nic.in. The notification will contain all the relevant information about the admission process, including the eligibility criteria, the selection procedure, the fee structure, and the important dates. Moreover, The KEA will release the list of shortlisted candidates on its website. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for an interview at SJIC. The final selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the interview.
