Yes, DTU accepts UCEED score for BDes admissions. However, students must note that DTU does not participate in the Joint Admission Process (JAP) instead they must apply for B.Des programme at DTU after the UCEED results are out.

For the 2026 - 20227 academic year DTU has been added as an institution which will accept UCEED scores for admission to its B.Des programme. Candidates who secure the required merit rank will be eligible for B.Des admission at the prestigious Delhi Technological University. However, candidates must also note that BDes admission in DTU will not follow the traditional counselling process organised by Joint Admission Process instead they must apply separately after the results of UCEED are released. Eligibility Criteria for DTU Admission through UCEED Score

- Must successfully clear class 12 from ISC, CBSE or any recognised board
- Students from any stream i.e. Science, Arts & Humanities or Commerce can apply
- Any other exam which is recognised equivalent to class 12 level of CBSE
- Candidates appeared for class 12 board exam conducted by state or central board which is recognised by Association of Indian Universities.

Detailed UCEED DTU Admission in BDes Process
Follow the below steps to know about the admission process.
- Candidates are required to first register themselves and then proceed to fill the application form only in the online mode at dtu.ac.in
- After duly filling up the application form, pay the required application fee and take a printout of the same which will then mark the application process being completed.
- After submission of the application form by the candidates the authorities will release the merit list prepared on the basis of UCEED scores. If there is a tie between two students, then the candidate who has scored higher aggregate marks in the class 12 board exam will be ranked higher. In case the tie still persists, then the candidate who is elder in age will be ranked higher by the authorities.
- Students who are selected on the basis of the merit list will be called by the authorities for the first round of admission during which they need to deposit the requisite admission fees and produce the relevant documents for verification.

- Two Passport size photographs
- Proof of Date of Birth
- Class 10 and 12 Marksheet and Passing Certificate
