The MH CET Law 2023 Counselling Process for the 5-year LL.B program started on June 15, 2023 and the counselling registration for the 3-year LL.B program began on June 26, 2023. The MH CET 5-Years LLB exam was held on April 05, 2023, and the MH CET 3-Years LLB exam was held on 02-03 May 2023. The result of the MH CET Law 2023 was released on May 21 for 5 Year LLB and on May 23 for 2 Year LLB.

MH CET Law 2023 Counselling Process

The MH CET Law Counselling is held every year once the MH CET 2023 results are released. This year the MH CET Law Counselling started on June 15, 2023 for 5-year LL.B and on June 26, 2023 for the 3-year LL.B courses in three rounds of the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) including the institute-level round. The conducting body releases the counselling schedule separately for both 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB exams. Only shortlisted candidates apply for the MH CET Law 2023 Counselling. The counselling process of MH CET Law 2023 is completely online and is undertaken by State CET Cell, Maharashtra.

The MH CET Law 2023 Counselling process follows a step-by-step approach wherein first the candidate fills out the counselling registration form, followed by a choice-filling process and then finally an e-scrutiny of documents. This process then continues with the publication of the provisional and final merit list and finally leads to the release of the seat allotment results for the respective phases. Once the MH CET Law 2023 seat allotment results are released, candidates can visit the allotted college with all the required documents and complete the college formalities.

Mentioned below are the do’s for the MH CET Law 2023 Counselling Process. These instructions are to be followed for the smooth process of admission. 

  • To participate in the counselling process of the MH CET Law 2023,  candidates need to register themselves for counselling by paying the counselling registration fee before the due date announced by the conducting body.
  • Candidates must ensure they have a valid score in the MH CET Law 2023 exam. Only students who have qualified the exam are allowed to apply for the counselling process.
  • A list of authentic documents is required at the time of the MH CET Law 2023 Counselling. Candidates have to make sure they have the complete list of required documents readily available both in hard copy and soft copy format for verification purposes. 
  • During the MH CET Law 2023 Counselling process, candidates undergo a choice-filling process in which they have to select their preferred colleges. Before filling in their choices, candidates must go through the participating colleges of MH CET Law, their admission process, course/ specialization available, and marks required and then select the most suited ones.
  • Once a candidate gets his or her seat allotment letter in Round 1, they can either accept it by downloading the provisional admission letter or has to re-apply for Round 2. 
  • If the candidates are satisfied with the college allotted to them they have to accept the provisional admission letter and then have to report to the allotted Institute on the prescribed date and time in order to complete the admission formalities and confirm their admission and seat.

Mentioned below are the don’t’s for the MH CET Law 2023 Counselling Process. Candidates must follow these to avoid any later hassles.

  • If candidates have qualified for the exam and got their names on the list they must timely fill out the MH CET Law 2023 Counselling registration form and pay the counselling registration fee.
  • At the time of the MH CET Law choice-filling process, candidates must select the preferred colleges very carefully as these cannot be edited later.
  • Candidates must not take the risk of being absent from the counselling process as the seats are very limited.
  • Document verification is a very crucial process, candidates cannot afford to miss it, and thus have to be available at this time. Those failing at the time of verifying their documents will be disqualified.
  • Candidates must carry all of the required documents and must produce the same documents that they have used at the time of registration, as submitting different documents may lead to direct disqualification 
  • The candidates must self-report / physically report themselves to the allotted Institute to confirm their admission if they are satisfied with the allotted seat, and if they aren't satisfied they must re-apply for the subsequent counselling rounds accordingly.
  • Last but not the least, candidates must not wait for subsequent counselling rounds unnecessarily and timely book their seats by paying the admission fee, especially if one is not sure of the allotted college in the second round. The third or the institute round may take place or not all depending upon the vacant seats left and the college's decision.
