GATE 2025 Electrical Engineering: The GATE 2025 Electrical Engineering exam date has been announced, the GATE EE exam will be held on February 2, 2025, from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. GATE 2025 Electrical Engineering is one of the highly opted papers by the students. In the previous year, 59,599 students appeared for the GATE EE exam in 2024 and 12,596 qualified for the exam. Since it's a very popular GATE 2025 exam paper, you must study hard to pass the exam. The GATE 2025 Electrical Engineering syllabus and exam pattern have been released on the official GATE 2025 website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The GATE Electrical Engineering question paper will have a total of 65 questions and a total of 100 marks. The three main sections of the exam General Aptitude, Engineering Mathematics, and Electrical Engineering will have a dedicated distribution of marks. GATE 2025 Electrical Engineering Marking Scheme

The GATE Electrical Engineering question paper 2025 features mainly three types of questions, Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Multiple Select Questions (MSQs), and Numerical Answer Type questions (NATs). The exam will have a total of 65 questions and they will carry 1 and 2 marks. The exam has no partial marking for MSQs, however, negative marks will be deducted for various MCQs. The weight of the negative marks will depend on the mark the question carries.

  • There is no negative marking for wrong answer(s) to MSQ or NAT questions.

Dear Student,

It is not mandatory to pay the tuition fee for the college allotted in Phase 1 to be eligible for Phase 2 of TS PGECET 2025 counselling. If you wish to upgrade your seat you can participate in Phase 2 web options even if you do not pay the fees or report to the college allotted in the first phase. However, if you have already paid the fee for the Phase 1 college and then get a new seat in the second phase of counselling, the fees paid earlier be transferred to the new college.
