GATE BM Exam Pattern

What about the exam pattern of GATE BM exam? The GATE Biomedical exam will be conducted in the online mode. There will be a total of 65 questions in the exam. The questions will be divided into MCQs and NATs-type questions. There will be a total of 3 sections in the exam: General Aptitude, Mathematics, and Biomedical Engineering subject. The paper will be conducted for a total of 100 marks. The Biomedical Engineering exam and mathematics will comprise 70% weightage in the exam and the General Aptitude exam will comprise 15% weightage. There will be a total of 10 questions from General Aptitude and 55 questions from the Biomedical Engineering subject.

GATE BM Marking Scheme

The GATE Biomedical Engineering paper will be of a total of 100 marks. There will be a total of 65 questions asked in the exam. There will be one mark and 2 mark questions in the GATE BM paper. The clear marking scheme for the GATE Biomedical paper is given in the table below:

Dear Student,

It is not mandatory to pay the tuition fee for the college allotted in Phase 1 to be eligible for Phase 2 of TS PGECET 2025 counselling. If you wish to upgrade your seat you can participate in Phase 2 web options even if you do not pay the fees or report to the college allotted in the first phase. However, if you have already paid the fee for the Phase 1 college and then get a new seat in the second phase of counselling, the fees paid earlier be transferred to the new college.
