Factors Affecting the Haryana PG Medical Counselling 2025

  1. Merit list: The merit list plays a significant role in determining the order in which candidates are called for counseling. Candidates who have secured higher marks in the entrance exam will have a better chance of getting their preferred seat.

  3. Reservation policy: Haryana follows a reservation policy for various categories, such as SC/ST/OBC/EWS. This policy can affect the number of seats available for each category, and the order in which candidates are called for counseling.

  4. Documents verification: The verification of documents is an essential part of the counseling process. Any discrepancies in the documents submitted can lead to rejection of the application, and the candidate may miss out on their preferred seat.

  5. Counseling schedule: The counseling schedule can also affect the counseling process, as candidates may have to juggle multiple counseling sessions for different states or colleges. If the counseling schedule for Haryana clashes with other states, candidates may have to choose which session to attend, which can impact their chances of securing their preferred seat.
