
How to Apply for Multiple MAT Sessions:
You must register separately for each MAT session, if you want to apply for multiple sessions. The exam takes place four times a year in February, May, September & December, and you can maximize your chances of seeking admission to the top MBA and PGDM institutes of India by taking multiple attempts a year and submitting your best score. As per your convenience, choose Paper-based or Computer-based test mode. You will also be given fee concessions when you choose both PBT and CBT test modes.

Steps to Apply for Multiple MAT Sessions
There is no combined registration across different sessions like February, May, September, December, and you are required to submit a new application for each session following the same process. Within one session, you can either opt for PBT, CBT, or both PBT and CBT in a single application form. Follow the steps mentioned below to apply for all four MAT sessions.Keep the Required Documents Ready
Before you begin with the application process, keep the following details and files ready for registration:- A valid email ID
- Scanned photograph
- Scanned signature
- Personal and Educational Qualification details
- Debit/ Credit card, Net Banking or UPI details
New Candidate Registration
If you are a new candidate, you are required to follow the steps mentioned below:- At first, you are required to create an account.
- Go to the official website @mat.aima.in and click "Register Now" or "New Registration".
- To register as a new candidate, you must enter the initial details like your name, email, and mobile number.
- Enter the OTP sent to your phone to verify the account to access the dashboard.

The other required details for registration include the following:
- Valid Email ID and Mobile Number (for OTP verification).
- After this, enter the following details:
- Your full name (cannot be edited after submission)
- Email Address, Mobile Number
- State/ UT, City
- Any Password of your preference
- After submitting these details, the profile and academic details required are as follows:

Existing Candidate Login
- If you are already an existing candidate, simply log in to continue your application process or check your application status.
- Log in with your registered Email ID and password
- Choose your preferred exam mode among PBT, CBT, and PBT+CBT.
- Next, choose a maximum of 4 test cities for PBT.
- After this, select up to 5 colleges where your scores will be sent.
Know the Test Mode Details

- Paper Based Test (PBT)
- Computer Based Test (CBT), or
- Both exam modes (PBT+CBT)
Pay the Application Fee

Upload Photograph & Signature
Photograph Details- Only a recent passport-sized coloured photograph will be accepted.
- The coloured photo must be taken against a light colored background. A white background will be preferred. No harsh shadows must be present in the photograph.
- Candidates who wear glasses must ensure that there are no reflections on them. Your eyes must be clearly visible in the photo.
- It is crucial that both your ears are visible in the photograph.
- Hence, it is suggested that you avoid wearing caps, hats and dark glasses while clicking the photograph. If you are wearing religious headwear, ensure that it does not cover your face. Religious headwear is not prohibited.
- No photo image file apart from the .jpg or .jpeg format will be accepted. The minimum size of the file should be 10KB, and the maximum should be 50KB.
- The signature must be done on white paper with a black ink pen.
- Scan the signature. While doing it, ensure that you scan the area of the signature only and not the entire page.
- Please be aware that this signature is going to be displayed on the admit card.
- Therefore, it must be identical to the signature on the answer sheet during the written exam and the interview.
- If it differs, your candidature will be rejected.
- Only the .jpg or .jpeg format should be followed for the image file. The minimum size of the file should be 5KB, and the maximum should be 20KB.
- After this, click on "Preview and submit".
Choose Management Institutes (MI)
- If you are aiming to opt for Double test modes (PBT+CBT), you will have the privilege to select 2 additional Management Institutes, where the scores obtained by you will be sent for free.
- There is already an existing option of selecting 5 MIs, to which 2 MIs will be added.
- This implies that you can select a total of 7 MIs.
- If you are selecting extra MI, you must pay INR 118 (including 18%GST).

Fill Personal, Qualification & Experience
You are required to fill in the details on the MAT online registration form. Provide the personal and qualification details mentioned below:Personal Details

- Category (GEN/ OBC/ SC/ ST/ PwD)
- Address
- Contact Number
- Valid Email ID required for sending OTP and all sorts of communications
Qualification Details
- Academic records like
- Class 10th (percentage/ marks, year, board)
- Class 12th (percentage/ marks, stream, year, board)
- Graduation (name of degree, specialization, university, percentage/ CGPA, completion year or "appearing", or "pursuing for final-year students)
- Total months/ years of professional experience
- Designation
- Name of organization
- Nature of industry (optional for freshers)
- You may also select "No Experience" (if applicable)
Application Form Submission
- Preview the MAT application form before submitting it.
- Take a printout of the registration form for future reference.
Update Details & Upgrade Exam (if required)
- If you have registered for the MAT exam successfully, you are allowed to edit certain fields in the application form.
- After downloading and reviewing the registration form, you will be able to make modifications to details except Name, DOB, Email and mobile number.
- If you have already opted for an exam mode, you can upgrade it to the available options among CBT + PBT and CBT + CBT.
- However, you are required to pay an additional fee of INR 1600.
- Additional MI Choices are available, and you have the privilege to select as many as MIs as per your preference.
- In this case, you must pay an additional fee of INR 118/- (including 18% GST).
MAT Registration Process for Multiple Modes
If you want to apply for two sessions in the same cycle, go to the official AIMA MAT website and follow the steps mentioned below:- After being redirected to the MAT application form, select the exam modes from the "Test Mode" section.
- After this, choose the "PBT + CBT" option, instead of selecting just one exam mode between PBT or CBT.
- Select Management Institutes (MIs). For the two modes (PBT + CBT), you are allowed to choose a maximum of 7 B-Schools.
- Upload the required documents that include a recent passport-size photograph (10–50 KB) and your scanned signature (5–20 KB). Both must be in the JPG/ JPEG format.
- Rather than applying for both modes separately, complete the application fee payment for two modes online to make it more cost-effective.
