IHM Admission Process 2023 - Check Fees, Eligibility & Selection Process

Institute of Hotel Management Catering & Nutrition or IHM as it is popularly known is the most reputed hotel management & catering technology institute in India. With around 46 Central and State Government sponsored IHMs in India at present, hotel management courses are witnessing a popularity spike. Candidates who wish to pursue hotel management courses after 12th standard or after graduation often turn towards the top IHM's of India for admission. An individual needs to meet the eligibility criteria of the desired course before applying for admission at an IHM. NCHMCT JEE and NCHMCT MSC JEE are conducted to shortlist the desired candidates to UG and PG level Hotel Management courses respectively.

National Council of Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination (NCHMJEE) - 2023 was conducted by National Testing Agency in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode on May 14, 2023. Results of the exam are now hosted on https://nchmjee.nta.nic.in. Candidates can login to the website using their application number and date of birth and view/download/print their respective Score Card. The eligibility criteria, self-declaration, various documents, etc. of the eligible candidates shall be verified as per norms specified by NCHMCT at subsequent stages of the admission process. Eligibility Criteria for IHM Admission 2023

Course	Educational Qualification
BSc	Must have qualified SSC or its equivalent exam with English as one of the subjects. Those awaiting the result or appearing for the SSC exam can also apply. General/OBC- upper age limit is 25 years as on July 1, 2022. SC/ST- upper age limit is 28 years as on July 1, 2022.
MSc	Must have passed a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management from a recognised institute/university approved by AICTE. Candidates with a BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from NCHM-IGNOU can also apply.
Diploma/ Certificate	Must have passed SSC or 12th standard exam with English as a compulsory subject. Some institutes have set up an age limit of 25 & 28 years for Open and Reserved categories while others have not.
PG Diploma	Must have completed the graduation from the required discipline Upper age limit is 25 years for the aspirants

Application Process of IHM for both BSc/MSc

Visit the home page of the official website of NCHM.
Find out the desired course and select the “Click Here” option mentioned under the notification.
Next, select “Fill the Registration Form” and “ New Registration”.
Select “Click here to proceed”.
Enter all the basic details carefully and correctly.
Click on “Submit”.
Log in again with the User ID/Application Number and Password displayed on the screen.
Enter personal and academic credentials.
Upload the required documents including a signature and photograph.
Pay the application fee and the form will be submitted successfully.
