Admission Process at Colleges Accepting INI CET Expect AIIMS
As per the data, there are only 17 Medical colleges that accept INI CET scores, amongst them around 15 are government and 2 are private colleges. Various Medical colleges offer admission through the INI CET scores. The admissions into INI CET colleges are based on INI CET scores followed by a Group Discussion/ Personal Interview round.
For admissions, the Students are shortlisted based on their scores obtained in the INI CET scores. Qualified Students need to participate in the counselling process. Thereafter, they are invited for document verification and can have to undergo personal interviews. To apply for INI CET, the Students must hold an MBBS, BDS, or equivalent degree from a reputable institution, as determined by MCI or DCI.

To appear apply for INI CET, the Students must register at aiimsexam.ac.in. The Students must apply for the desired course on the official website of the college. A "good" INI-CET rank is typically considered to be within the top 500, which provides admission to top institutes such as AIIMS, JIPMER, and PGIMER. For entry into premier specialties at institutes like AIIMS Delhi, a rank in the top 10 to 50 is required.
There is no limit to the number of times you can attempt the INI-CET exam; candidates can appear for the examination as many times as they wish.
General/OBC/EWS candidates must have a minimum of 55% aggregate in MBBS/BDS to appear for INI-CET whereas SC/ST candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Candidates who have completed an MBBS degree for MD/ MS/ DM-6yrs/ MCh-6yrs/ MD (Hospital Administration) or BDS degree are eligible for this exam.
INI CET can be considered harder than theNEET PG exam due to its clinical focus and the nature of the questions, which require a deep conceptual understanding.
