JAC Delhi Counselling 2026: Spot Round, Dates, Documents, Admission Process

JAC Delhi Counselling 2026 spot round dates will be announced soon. As per the previous trends, the spot round seat allotment and admission (B.Tech) Spot Rounds will be held on separate days for different categories from July 2026. For SC Category (Outside Delhi), Single Girl (Delhi). ST Category (Delhi) and SC Category (Delhi) are being conducted on July 2026. This will be followed by the spot round for OBC Category (Delhi) and EWS Category (Delhi) in July 2026. In order to be considered for seat allotment through spot round, you will have to be physically present at the allotted campus on the given time & date slot.

After completing JAC counselling, you will be able to get admitted to the BE/ B.Tech & B.Arch courses offered by 5 technical institutes/ universities of the Government of NCT, Delhi, namely IIIT-D, UGDTUW, DESU, NSUT, and DTU. JAC Delhi counselling is conducted for the students who are looking forward to getting admission to the BE/ B.Tech and B. Arch courses in Delhi. There are 5 Government NCT technical universities/ institutes that participate in JAC Delhi counselling, namely Delhi Technological University , Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi , Netaji Subhas University of Technology , Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women and Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University. This counselling process was curated by the Government of NCT, Delhi to smooth the procedure for students taking admission to various institutes. The entire JAC counselling process is conducted in an online mode on the official website of the Joint Admission Committee.

JAC Delhi Counselling Admission Process 2026

The complete admission process of JAC Delhi counselling includes registration, choice filling, seat allotment result, seat confirmation, fee payment, and so on. The points below detail about the complete admission process of JAC Delhi counselling:-

• Registration: The registration form for JAC Delhi registration is made available on the official website of the Joint Admission Counselling, ie, jacdelhi.admissions.nic.in.
• Choice Filling: The process of choice filling involves logging in and filling in the choices of the colleges & courses that you prefer to take admission to.
• Seat allotment result: The result of seat allotment will be based on the ranks secured in the JEE Main exam.
• Seat confirmation & fee payment: After the seat allotment letter has been issued, you need to pay the requisite fee, get your seats confirmed and then freeze your allotted seat. Lest, the seat will be upgraded as per the filled choices.
• Document Verification: The next step is document verification, in which you need to report to the allotted centre and get your documents verified.
• Reporting to the allotted institute: After the verification is done, you need to report to the allotted institute for the final admission.

JAC Delhi 2026 counselling registration is ongoing on the official website of the Joint Admission Counselling on June 19, 2026. Moreover, you can find the details related to JAC Delhi registration 2026 below:-

Authentication

• The first and foremost step is to authenticate yourself with the help of the required details such as the JEE Main application number, your name as per the JEE Main admit card, and your DOB as per the JEE Main application form.
• After this, you will be required to enter your registered email id and mobile number.
• A verification code will be sent to the mobile number & mail id filled out by you and then, you can enter the password of your choice.
• Then, you will have to log in to the JAC Delhi portal with the help of your JEE Main application number & password.

Filling out the Application Form

After you have authenticated yourself, you will have to fill out the application form with all the required details.

Upload the Required Documents

Post the application form is filled out, you need to upload the scanned documents within the specified size & format.

Paying the Application Fee

The next step is to pay the application fee. You can pay the fee via online mode through credit card/debit card/net banking.

Take a Printout of the Application Form

After you have submitted the application form by completing all the steps mentioned above, you are advised to take a printout of the application form for future reference.

JAC Delhi Choice Filling 2026

After you have registered successfully, you need to fill out your choices online. The complete procedure of choice filling will include steps such as the selection of courses and institutes preferred. Once the choices are filled, you will be able to see the list of selected seats. As per your choice, you will be able to move the choice up and down. You are recommended to fill out as many options as possible to increase your chances of success.

JAC Delhi Seat Allotment 2026

To check the result, you will be required to log in with the help of the required credentials. After the seat allotment, you will be issued a provisional seat allotment letter comprising the institute and category/subcategory allotted to you. You must download the provisional seat allotment letter and pay the seat acceptance fee if you are satisfied with the allotted seats. You are required to visit the reporting centre for document verification, following which the admission status will be updated on the website under the login.

After the admission committee confirms the admission, you can download the issued provisional admission letter from your login on the official website. In case, you are not satisfied with the seats allotted to them, you can opt for branch upgradation. Such students will be automatically upgraded to the higher preferred choice in the subsequent round depending upon the availability of seats, eligibility and JEE Main rank.

Documents Required for JAC Delhi Counselling 2026

After you have been issued the provisional seat allotment letter & paid the seat acceptance fee of JAC Delhi Counselling, you will have to report to the allotted centre along with all the documents for verification. The complete list of the documents that you need to present to the centre can be found below:-

• Application form submission printout signed by your guardian/ parent
• Printout of the choices filled
• Qualifying exam mark sheet
• Seat allotment letter printout
• JEE Main admit card & scorecard printout
• 3 passport sized photographs

JAC Delhi Counselling 2026 Spot Round

The spot round for the JAC counselling 2026 will be conducted as per the following:-

1. No fresh registration will be allowed for the spot round.
2. If participating in the spot round, then you must bring the following documents along with the DD:-

• Printout of JAC Delhi registration form
• Class X mark sheet (original and one photocopy)
• Class XII mark sheet (original and one photocopy)
• Category (ST/SC/EWS/OBC/PD/CW/SG) certificate(s), if applicable (original and one photocopy)
• Demand Draft(s) of Amount Rs. 95,000/- in favour of “JAC DELHI” payable at SBI, Delhi College of Engineering, Bawana Road, New Delhi. The authority will not accept any other mode of payment.
• Medical Fitness Certificate

Note: Admission without these documents & DD will not be allowed.

The students shall be offered admission as per the seats available in the respective categories in the following order:-

• ST/SC
• OBC
• EWS
• General

Note: In each category, the students will be called in order of their JEE Main CRL rank and then they will be offered the available seats. You also will be able to accept any seats by making immediate payment through DD. You will not be provided any extra time for making DD after the seat has been offered.

JAC Delhi Cutoff 2026

The Joint Admission Counselling (JAC) Delhi will release the cutoff of JAC Delhi separately for each rounds. In order to be eligible for admission, you are required to meet the JAC Delhi cutoff 2026. The JAC Delhi cutoff 2026 is determined by the factors namely the total number of students applying for admission and the availability of seats for the B. Tech courses.
