Jharkhand NEET counselling 2025 is scheduled to commence on July 30, 2025. The round 1 counselling registration process will begin on that day and it will close on August 4, 2025. The round 1 seats will be allotted along The choice filling window will open on August 6, 2025 and will close on August 12, 2025. The round 1 document verification and final seat allotment, along with reporting at the allocated institute, will start on August 7, 2025, and the last date is August 12, 2025. The NEET 2025 exam was held on May 4, 2025. To be eligible for the Jharkhand NEET UG counselling 2025, students need to appear for the NEET exam 2025.
The Jharkhand NEET counselling 2025 is being conducted based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) scores. The State Counselling conducting authority is responsible for conducting 85% of admissions through the state quota counselling. The counselling process will be conducted in three to four rounds, namely, Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up round, and a Stray Vacancy Round if seats remain unfilled in the first three rounds. The JCECEB will release the Jharkhand NEET Merit List 2025 to announce the eligible students who can participate in the state counselling process. To participate in the Jharkhand NEET 2025 Counselling, students must ensure that they meet the following specified eligibility criteria. Failure to satisfy any of these criteria will render the student ineligible to proceed further in the counselling process.

To participate in the Jharkhand NEET Counselling 2025, students must ensure that they meet the following specified eligibility criteria. The Jharkhand medical counselling is:

1. Age Requirement: The student must have attained the age of 17 years by December 2025.
2. Academic Eligibility: Students must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as mandatory subjects and must have obtained a minimum aggregate score of 50% in these subjects.
3. NEET UG Cutoff 2025: The cutoff percentile for UG students is set at the 50th percentile, while for students from other categories, it is set at the 40th percentile.
4. Domicile Requirement: The student must possess a domicile certificate of Jharkhand (resident of Jharkhand for 10 years).

Jharkhand NEET Counselling 2025 Step-by-Step Procedure

Stage 1: Online Registration for Jharkhand NEET 2025

NEET UG aspirants must register themselves at the official website of JCECEB to take part in the Jharkhand NEET Counselling Process. Now, the students must fill out the Jharkhand NEET Counselling Application Form. Students must pay the registration fee to submit the Jharkhand NEET counselling application form.

Stage 2: Submission of Documents for Verification

The documents are required by the Jharkhand NEET Colleges to check a candidate’s date of birth, educational qualifications and other credentials. Further, students must ensure that they keep the original copies safely with them, as the same is required to be produced for physical verification at the allotted colleges

Stage 3: Jharkhand NEET 2025 Merit List

Jharkhand NEET 2025 Merit List is announced by JCECEB on its official website. The Jharkhand Rank List 2025 is based on NEET UG Scores and the seat matrix of medical colleges in the state.

Stage 4: Jharkhand NEET 2025 Counselling Rounds and Choice Filling

In case qualified students are not allotted any seats, the Mop-Up Round and Stray Vacancy Round are also conducted by the JCECEB. Students who appear in the Jharkhand NEET 2025 Merit List can take part in Round 1 of the Counselling process. Students can now exercise their choice of course and college and rank them in order of their preference. Students who didn’t register for Round 1 of the Counselling process can participate in Round 2.

Stage 5: Admission Allotment and Payment of Tuition Fees

Eligible students will now be offered admission into Medical Colleges in Jharkhand based on the State Merit List, NEET UG 2025 Scorecard and the choice filled by the candidate. Post the seat allotment, students are required to pay the tuition fees of the allotted colleges.

Stage 6: Physical Verification of Documents

Lastly, the students must report to their allotted colleges for physical verification of documents. In case any student fails to report to the college within the stipulated period, his/her admission offer can be rejected by the Counselling committees of the respective colleges.

Jharkhand NEET UG 2025 Counselling Fees

While applying for Jharkhand NEET UG Counselling 2025, students are required to pay certain application and Counselling fees at the official website. Students can choose to pay through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI. The aspirants must pay this non-refundable fee within the stipulated time. Failure to do so will lead to the rejection of the Counselling application.
