Karnataka Examination Authority has released the second round final allotment result along with the round 2 B.Pharm cutoff on its official website. Candidates have to make their admission choices till September 2.

Karnataka B Pharma Admission 2025: The admission to the B.Pharm course in the state of Karnataka is based on KCET 2025 exam . Karnataka Examinations Authority has released the second round seat allotment result on its official website on August 30, 2025. On the basis of the seat allotment result, students will have 4 choices from which they need to select their admission process. On the basis of their decisions, candidates are required to exercise their choice by September 2, 2025, till 1 PM. Only those candidates who are satisfied with their allotment have to pay the fees and also deposit a caution money of INR 10,000 till September 2, 2025. The confirmation slip can be downloaded by candidates, and reporting to colleges can be done till September 3, 2025

Karnataka B Pharm Eligibility Criteria 2025

Students who wish to apply for Karnataka B.Pharm Admission 2025, need to appear for the KCET 2025 Exam. Before filling out the KCET Application form , students must go through the KCET Eligibility criteria . The criteria are set by the Karnataka Examination Authority. It is discussed below

  • Candidates need to pass 10+2 examinations with a minimum of 45% (40% in case the candidate is from a reserved category) marks from any recognized board of education or its equivalent qualification.
  • In the case of B.Tech and B.Arch, students must have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects during the higher secondary level
  • For Pharmacy courses, candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects at 10+2 level
  • At the time of admission, the candidate should be at least 17 years of age.
  • Candidates who have secured a diploma in pharmacy (D Pharm) from an institute recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India can also apply for B Pharm admission in Karnataka.

Exam Pattern of Karnataka B Pharm

To crack the best colleges, students must know the KCET 2025 Exam Pattern as the score of this test is crucial for their Karnataka B.Pharm Admission 2025. The exam pattern is discussed below

  • A total of 240 MCQ questions will be asked

  • The exam will be conducted in offline mode

  • Available languages for the exam are Kannada and English

  • The exam will be conducted in four sessions; Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology

  • Students will get 80 minutes for each section

  • A total of 60 questions will be asked from each section of the paper

  • For every correct answer, candidates will get +1

  • There is no negative marking for wrong answers

Karnataka B Pharm Application Process 2025

In order to apply for B Pharm admissions in Karnataka, candidates will be required to fill the KCET application form, there is no separate form as such.

The steps to fillup the application form is mentioned below:-

Step 1:- Registration:-

Candidates need to visit the KEA for the registration of the program by filling up the KCET application form.

Step 2:- Basic Details:-

Candidates must provide their basic details, e.g. name, father's name, nationality, gender, corresponding address, category, etc.

Step 3:- Upload Photograph/ Signatures

Upload your recent photograph and scanned documents in JPEG/ JPG format. The image size of the scanned document should not be more than 40 KB. The dimension of signature and left-hand impression should be 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm

Step 4:- Confirmation

After the application form has been completed, candidates have to successfully submit the application form. Make sure to review the application form before the final submission.

Step 5:- Payment

At last, the candidate needs to pay the application fee. The application fee can vary from category to category.

Document Verification

  • After the KCET results are announced, KEA calls qualified candidates for document verification at designated helpline centres.
  • Candidates must carry their original documents and photocopies.
  • After successful verification, KEA issues a Verification Slip with a unique User ID and Secret Key.

Online Registration & Option Entry

  • Candidates must log in to the KEA counselling portal using their credentials.
  • They must fill choices/preferences of colleges and courses in order of priority.
  • Options can be modified, re-arranged, or deleted until the last date.
  • There is no limit to the number of options a candidate can enter.

Seat Allotment

KEA conducts seat allotment in multiple rounds

  • Round 1: Based on rank, preferences, category, and seat availability.
  • Round 2: Candidates who didn’t get a seat or want to change can participate.
  • Special rounds/extended rounds: Held if seats remain vacant.

Exercising Choice after Allotment

After seat allotment, candidates must choose from four choices:

  • Choice 1: Accept the allotted seat and exit counselling (no participation in further rounds).
  • Choice 2: Accept the seat but also participate in the next round to try for a better option.
  • Choice 3: Reject the seat and participate in the next round.
  • Choice 4: Reject the seat and exit from counselling completely.

Payment of Fees & Admission Order

  • If a candidate selects Choice 1 or Choice 2, they must pay the prescribed admission fee online.
  • After fee payment, they can download the Admission Order from the KEA portal.

Reporting to the Allotted College

  • Candidates must report to their allotted college within the given time frame with Admission Order, Fee payment receipt, Original documents
  • Failure to report on time may lead to cancellation of the seat.

  • Candidates must submit all the certificates of all qualifying examinations along with their mark sheet issued by the Board/University.
