KCET Exam Day Instructions 2025

KCET Exam Day Instructions 2025: KCET 2025 exam will be conducted on April 16 and 17, 2025. As per KEA official instructions, the initial 10 minutes in KCET 2025 exam will be given for the candidates to write/ shade the particulars such as name, CET number, version code, and the serial number of the question booklet on the OMR sheets. Also, OMR answer sheets in which the candidates do not select the correct CET number and version code will not be scanned and such candidates will not be assigned any rank. KCET Exam Day Instructions 2025

The candidates must also be aware of all the important KCET 2025 exam day instructions as per the official brochure listed below -

1. The candidates must ensure they reach their respective KCET 2025 exam centers 1 hour before the commencement time of the exam.

2. The candidates must not forget to carry a valid photo identity proof along with them to their respective exam centres in addition to their hall tickets

3. The candidates will be handed over the “ Attendance Sheet ” which they must sign in the presence of their respective exam invigilators

4. Candidates must only occupy those seats that have their CET numbers mentioned on them

5. The exam hall invigilators will not entertain any kind of ruckus or disturbance created by the candidates

6. The candidates cannot any type of electronic devices like cell phones, electronic watches, calculators etc with them to their respective exam halls

7. The candidates must also ensure they do not carry any written pieces with them to their respective exam halls

8. The candidates will not be allowed to go outside their exam halls during the exam time slot

9. Candidates found not abiding by all the regulations and instructions mentioned above will be disqualified by the officials

KCET 2025 OMR Instructions

The following instructions are for the candidates appearing for this year’s KCET examination and the OMR sheet which will be provided to them in which they can submit their responses -

  • The candidates will find the specimen of the KCET OMR sheet on the official website of KEA - cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/

  • The candidates must download multiple copies of the sample OMR sheet from the official site and practice answering the questions in them to acclimatize themselves to the process

  • The candidates must only use blue/black ballpoint pens to record their responses on the OMR sheet

  • The candidates must ensure that the OMR sheet has two parts before beginning to submit their responses

  • The second part of the OMR sheet or the lower part will be returned to the candidates after each session whereas the first sheet will be sent for evaluation

  • The candidates will be given the initial 10 minutes to fill up the particulars like name, serial number of the question paper, version code and CET number

  • The candidates must know that for each question, only one of the given four options will be correct

Things to Carry to KCET 2025 Exam Centres

The candidates appearing in this year’s KCET examination must know that they can carry only the following documents along with them to their respective KCET exam centres -

1. KCET 2025 hall ticket

2. A valid photo identity proof

3. Class 12 admission ticket

4. College identity card

The candidates must know that the aforementioned documents must be carried along with their hall tickets to their respective exam centres on the given day.

KCET Exam Dress Code

There is no specific dress code provided by the conducting body for the KCET candidates. However, candidates should keep in mind certain factors when it comes to dressing for the KCET 2025 exam which have been mentioned below.

  • Male candidates are suggested to wear simple and comfortable outfits
  • As there is no specific KCET 2025 dress code specified for the candidates, decent outfits such as t-shirts, shirts with pants or jeans and sober traditional wear is acceptable
  • Candidates should wear clothes appropriate for the frisking process
  • Any implicating material should be removed from the pockets
  • It is advised to avoid shoes and boots. Slippers and sandals with low heels are recommended footwear
  • Candidates must avoid wearing heavy jewelry
  • A simple hairstyle is advisable
  • Keeping in consideration the weather conditions, candidates should opt for light and comfortable clothes

To be eligible for IIIT Hyderabad’s Undergraduate Entrance Examination (UGEE) in 2025, candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as compulsory subjects.
