To learn more about the factors determining NEET Cutoff 2024, candidates can refer to the pointers below.

Difficulty Level: The difficulty level of the NEET 2024 examination directly impacts the cutoff scores. A more challenging exam may result in higher cutoff marks as candidates' performance adapts to the test's complexity.

Total Marks: The total marks obtained by candidates in NEET 2024 play a significant role in determining the cutoff. Higher marks may lead to a higher cutoff as they indicate a stronger performance by the candidates.

Number of Candidates: The total number of candidates appearing for the NEET 2024 examination affects the overall competition, which can have an impact on the cutoff scores. A higher number of candidates may lead to a more competitive environment and subsequently influence the cutoff.

Seat Matrix: The availability of seats under AIQ (All India Quota) and State Quota separately contributes to the cutoff trends. The total number of seats offered influences the cutoff marks, as it affects the distribution of seats among the candidates.

Reservation of Seats: The reservation of seats for different categories across all medical colleges in the country also plays a crucial role in influencing the cutoff. The allocation of seats based on categories affects the cutoff scores, as candidates from different reserved categories may have varying cutoffs.

If you're a general category candidate, aim for a rank within 500 to 1000. For OBC candidates, the range is 600 to 1200. SC candidates should ideally secure a rank between 1500 and 2000, and for ST candidates, the rank should be between 2700 and 3200.
