List of Documents Required for KCET 2024 Counselling

Documents Required for KCET 2024 Counselling - KCET 2024 counselling will start by the Karnataka Examination Authority tentatively from the fourth week of June to the First week of July 2024. Candidates can expect the web options to be available from the First week of August 2024. Candidates should complete the KCET web options and renounce their current seats allocated to them within the stipulated period. Based on the choices filled in by the candidates, KEA will release the Seat Allotment Result 2024 tentatively in the Second week of August 2024. Candidates who qualify for the KCET 2024 exam will be eligible for the KCET 2024 counselling process. Applicants must note that the KCET 2024 counselling is being conducted in online mode. To participate in the counselling process every candidate had to register themselves with KEA and upload the documents listed in this article. Since many candidates find it challenging to assimilate all the documents together during the counselling, they must ensure to keep the following documents mentioned in the article safe.

List of Documents Required During the KCET Counselling Process 2024

Here is the complete list of all the documents that the candidates must submit during the documents uploading procedure of the KCET 2024 counselling process - 

  • A copy of the final submitted application form for KCET

  • KCET 2024 hall ticket

  • Class 10/SSLC mark sheet

  • Class 12/IInd PUC mark sheet (in case of provisional mark sheet, the candidate must submit the mark sheet which bears the signature of the principal of the institution from where he/she has completed his/her IInd PUC/Class XIIth studies)

  • 7-year study certificate bearing the signature of the concerned DDPI/BEO (CBSE/CICSE study certificate holders are exempted from getting their certificates signed by DDPI/BEO)

In addition to the aforementioned certificates and documents, the candidates have to provide the following documents if they fall under the “Only If Applicable” category

Who Should Submit

Income Certificate

  • For candidates whose total family annual income is less than INR 8 LPA) issued by the concerned Tehsildar

  • Candidates belonging to the GM, CAT-1, SC and ST categories must obtain separate income certificates

Kannada Medium Certificate

Candidates belonging to the Karnataka state or any other state who have studied in Kannada medium from 1st to 10th standard. The certificate should be issued by the Head of the Educational Institution and countersigned by the respective DDPI/BEO

Rural Study Certificate

Candidates who have spent at least 10 full academic years (1 to 10) in any recognized Rural Educational Institution have to submit a certificate issued by the Head of the Educational Institution and countersigned by the respective DDPI/BEO. Such candidates also have to submit an income certificate issued by the concerned Tehsildar

Case Certificate

Reserved category candidates such as SC, ST, and OBC (Category 1) candidates have to submit their respective caste certificates issued by the concerned Jurisdictional Tehsildar.  Such candidates also have to submit an income certificate to avail of the benefits of the tuition fee waiver scheme and various Scholarships

Hyderabad-Karnataka Certificate (Article 371)

Candidates applying in the KCET counselling process through the Hyderabad-Karnataka (Article 371) reservation policy must submit all the important documents issued by the concerned Assistant Commissioner

Parent’s study certificate / Parent’s Hometown certificate / Parent’s Domicile certificate / Parent’s Employment certificate / Parent’s Cumulative Record / Parent’s Marks Card, etc., for the candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats based on the domicile/study/employment of the parent.

Duly sworn in Affidavit of the candidate who claims eligibility under Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga clauses C and D. (Regarding Mother Tongue)

IDENTITY CARD issued by the Jurisdictional Deputy Commissioner / District Magistrate / Rehabilitation Commissioner, for the candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats under the Jammu & Kashmiri Migrants quota.

KCET 2024 Counselling Process

Candidates can find information about the KCET counselling procedure listed below.  

KCET 2024 Registration and Document Verification Process

Candidates must arrive at the KCET counselling location with all needed documentation for document verification purposes. Applicants must provide the required papers in original form as well as two sets of photocopies. All documents will be reviewed by the appropriate authorities. If all of the papers are confirmed to be correct, the candidate will be given a slip with a unique ID and password.

KCET 2024 Choice Filling, and Locking 

Following KCET document verification, candidates must log in to their account using a unique ID and password. Following that, candidates must indicate their college and course preferences. During the selection process, a candidate will be able to view the seat matrix by course, category, and college. Candidates are recommended to choose their preferences of colleges carefully, although they can change, add, or delete them at any time during the KCET 2024 counselling process. 

KCET Seat Allotment 2024

To download the KCET seat allotment letter, candidates must first log in to their accounts. The KCET seat assignment letter includes information such as Allotted College, Reporting Date, and so on. 

Attending the designated college 

Candidates must go to the assigned college on the specified date and time to confirm their admission. Candidates should bring the additional relevant papers, as well as the KCET 2024 counselling allocation letter, to the college for verification.

KCET 2024 Seat Allotment Process

The Karnataka Examination Authority is expected to tentatively release the KCET Seat Allotment Result 2024 on its official website in the Second week of August 2024.To view the KCET seat allotment result 2024, candidates must enter their CET number and password. Candidates are assigned seats based on their KCET rank, preference filling, and seat availability. Candidates who participate in KCET 2024 counselling will be able to change, remove, and rearrange online selections of college during the seat allotment process. The KCET 2024 seat allotment is done in two rounds following that, the classes will commence.

Dear vaishnav, the Shri Shivaji Agriculture College, Amravati does not offer spot admission. The college offers admission to the B.Sc (Agriculture) course through the MHT CET entrance exam. The application form for the MHT CET can be downloaded from the MSCE website. The application fee is Rs 500 for general category candidates and Rs 250 for reserved category candidates. You can pply for registration next year since the 2023 admissions have closed.
