List of documents required for WBJEE 2025 Counselling - The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board will be conducting the WBJEE counselling 2025 from August 28, 2025, in online mode. Only those students who have successfully cleared the WBJEE 2025 exam will be eligible to take part in the counselling process. During the counselling, you will be required to provide a certain list of documents for verification purposes. The list of documents required for WBJEE 2025 counselling includes items such as Class 10 mark sheet, Class 12 mark sheet, WBJEE rank card, Class 10th admit card/ Birth certificate for verification of date of birth, etc. In order to participate in the WBJEE 2025 counselling, you are required to register for the counselling process. There will be 3 rounds for the counselling process of WBJEE, i.e. the allotment round, upgradation round, and mop-up round.

Rules and Guidelines for WBJEE Counselling 2025: (Seats for JEE Main and Architecture)

The rules and regulations for the eligible students that have to be followed for WBJEE 2025 counselling have been discussed below and you are advised to take a look at the same:

1. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board will provide centralized online WBJEE 2025 counselling for JEE Main and architecture seats.

2. The only courses for which WBJEE counselling will be offered in 2025 are those that are included in the seat matrix that the authorities have made public on August 27, 2025.

3. Any applicant who satisfies the requirements and has a rank in WBJEE 2025 and/or JEE Main is qualified to sign up for counselling.

4. WBJEE counselling 2025 will consist of three rounds: allotment, upgradation, and mop-up.

WBJEE Counselling 2025 Process

You must be familiar with the WBJEE 2025 counselling procedure in order to understand how to participate in it. If you are familiar with the WBJEE 2025 counselling process, you will breeze through the process with no problems.

Step 1: WBJEE Registration for Counselling Process

To begin, you must visit the official website wbjeeb.nic.in to register for the WBJEE counselling 2025. You must ensure that all of the information provided is valid before submitting it as it cannot be changed after it has been submitted. It should be noted that there is only one registration period for all rounds of allotment. You can complete the registration process by following the steps below:

1. Visit the official WBJEE 2025 counselling website.
2. To register for WBJEE 2025 counselling, go to the WBJEE 2025 counselling registration page.
3. You must select "New Registration" from the drop-down menu. You will have the option of registering through WBJEE, JEE Main, or both.
3. If you choose to register through WBJEE 2025, you must enter your application number, roll number, name, and date of birth.
4. Applicants through JEE Main 2025 must also submit their application number, roll number, name, and date of birth.
5. You can enter the information of both examinations if both channels have been selected.
6. Finally, click the Submit button.

Step 2: Payment of Counselling Charge

After registering, you must pay the WBJEE counselling fee of Rs. 500. You will be able to pay the charge using a debit card, credit card, or net banking account. It is important to know that the counselling cost is non-refundable.

Step 3: Filling and Locking of Choices

For WBJEE seat allotment, registered applicants must fill out an online form with their college and course preferences. The options must be chosen in order of preference. Before the given final date, the selected options must be edited and locked. If you are unable to lock your choices before the deadline, the system will lock the most recently stored options. It is necessary to take a printout of the completed options for future reference.

Step 4 - Seat Allotment

The authorities will assign seats to registered applicants through online, centralised WBJEE counselling 2025,  based on their merit, stated preferences, and seat availability. The authorities will perform three rounds of seat allotment. After logging in with your credentials, you will be able to check your allotment status. You will not get individual allocation letters. You must pay the seat acceptance fee either online (net banking/credit card/debit card) or offline to get the online seat allocation letter (e-challan of Allahabad Bank). WBJEE 2025 counselling has a seat acceptance fee of Rs 5000.

Step 5: Document Verification

If you have been assigned seats through WBJEE counselling 2025, you must attend your designated reporting centres and have your documents checked. You are also responsible for paying the requisite fee. For verification purposes, you will have to upload the following documents in PDF format at the time of registration for WBJEE counselling 2025. You must note that the registration will not be accepted without uploading the following documents.

1. WBJEE 2025 report card or rank card
2. Provisional allotment letter for WBJEE 2025
3. WBJEE 2025 confirmation page
4. For name and age verification, use the admit card or certificate from the 10th standard (or equivalent) examination
5. For English subject mark verification, use a 10th standard (or similar) mark sheet
6. Caste certificate (for applicants from SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B)
7. Physically challenged certificate for applicants in the PwD category
8. Certificate of Income (if applicable)
9. Certificate of residence (if applicable)
10. Result of JEE Main 2025 (if applicable)

Step 6: Report to Your Allotted Institute

Finally, you must report to the institute to which you have been assigned for confirmation of admission. You must also provide your provisional allocation letter to your particular institute. You will be required to provide both the original and photocopies of your documents.

What After WBJEE 2025 Document Verification Process?

After uploading the documents, you are not required to visit the Common Service Centre or Facilitation Centre. The verification of certificates will be done digitally through Virtual Facilitation Centres. You can check the status of certificate verification through the official website. You will have to log in to check the same. If the verification status fails, you will have to re-upload the certificates.

WBJEE 2025 Seat Allotment

The WBJEE seat allotment 2025 will begin after the results for the academic year 2025 are released. Only those who fulfil the WBJEE seat allotment eligibility criteria are eligible to apply. If you pass the WBJEE with a GMR score are eligible to take part in the WBJEE 2025 seat allotment process. Those who have AIR are eligible to take part in the round of seat allocation against the 10% sanctioned seats. The seat will be assigned to you on the basis of your performance, your preference, and the availability of seats. The WBJEE seat allotment result will be released online on wbjee.nic.

What after the WBJEE 2025 Seat Allotment?

Once the WBJEE seat allotment is over, you will have to do the following things:

1. You may obtain a temporary seat assignment letter following the successful conclusion of the seat allocation procedure. The letter includes information such as the your assigned seat, the amount of the fee, and information on an upgrade following the completion of the document verification procedure.

2. You must show up to the reporting centre on time and in the proper attire as specified in the provisional seat assignment letters, which should be downloaded and saved.

3. You will need to pay the required seat acceptance fee to get the WBJEE seat allotment 2025  order. You have the option of paying the charge offline or online (e-challan).

4. You can only announce your desire to participate in further rounds of counselling and the seat allocation procedure when the document verification process is complete. For this, you will be required to sign a statement saying that your original seat assignment would be revoked.

5. You should select the "Freeze" option to secure your seats and hold them for additional counselling sessions.

6. After completing the process, you must show up at the designated institute and pay the necessary tuition money to secure your enrollment.
